Meta Business Manager vs. Publer

Meta Business Manger is well suited for large/medium and small organisations with single or multiple stake holders and products. It works very efficiently. Cases where app events are defined for android and iOS, it work wonders for campaign measurement and campaign level targeting. Meta Business Manager is very appropriate for running financial, educational, real estate, e-commerce related ads. Meta Business Manager is not appropriate if you have are into enterprise sales.

Where Publer is well suited: + Organisation of multiple social media accounts for when you have multiple brands + The integration of Google Maps makes it easy to organise multiple locations + Calendar with a nice overview makes it easy to see your social media planning for the following period of time Where it is less suited for: - Comparing competition and ideal posting time is quite a surplus in cost - No native Dutch version

• Helps drive more efficient CPCs and CPMs than other social channels
• Targets users outside of working hours
• Helps grow Retargeting pools to use on other channels
• Meta Business Manager's AI does a great job in identifying our ICP based off intent signals

• A unified drag-and-drop calendar with genuine native previews allows us to bulk-upload images or videos, shuffle posts between dates and platforms, and see exactly how each platform (FB, IG, TikTok, Threads, etc.) will display before we hit “Schedule.”
• Role-based approvals that streamline teamwork: interns draft, managers approve, and the audit trail ensures that nothing inconsistent slips through.
• Quick-glance analytics built right into the calendar, surface engagement spikes, best-time suggestions and post-level stats without exporting to another tool, so we can tweak campaigns on the spot.

• You have to look in multiple places for a full range of analytics
• The way it handles ad spend can be unpredictable, so if you're on a budget, you have to make sure you're really watching your ad spend
• For as much as Meta Business Manager pushes stories, reels, etc., the editing tools for this kind of content are limited or nonexistent.

• Some IG features are currently missing, like syncing with trending sounds, but I think that's more of an API limitation than a fault with Publer
• The website interface can be a bit challenging to navigate. It isn't quite as intuitive as I'd like with where things are placed.
• Some of the terms are confusing, like "recycling" and "recurring." I wish they'd combine these two particular posting options into one.
• I'd also love to see better integration with my personalized AI, trained on my business.

I love the tool, is simple and useful

The UI is easy and intuitive for any beginner, but it also has a lot of depth for more advanced users. There have been very few cases where I could not do something I wanted to do regarding media buying. However, there are big limitations regarding account management, admin settings, and user appeals.

The menu is very clear. The big green button for adding a post makes it obvious where to post from. There are all the tools I might need for scheduling, and more. I gave a 9 instead of 10 because I find the "Explore" menu to be superfluous for the way I use Publer and feel it adds clutter to the experience. But honestly - I can just not go to that menu and it's fine.

The pages do load very quick but in the the iPad form

Facebook is notoriously difficult to access for help and FBM is no exception. Only the chat feature will get someone in touch with you and then there is very limited help. The most they do is send links from their 'help section' without really offering much help at all. Business owners and directors need a person on the phone that can understand the problem and help fix it, not 'helpful links that have already been tried.

Every time I have contacted Publer, I get answers right away

Facebook is a well-known platform that has to be utilized. It allows us to reach so many new customers and potential patients for our clients. As well as allows us to interact with them consistently and keep them informed or advertise to a new niche of people. The best part about Facebook Business Manager is its usability and reach!

In our opinion, Sendible is poorly designed and takes too many menus, clicks, opens and closes to perform a simple task. Their pricing structure changes suddenly with price increases and loss of seats. Socialbee was a contender but had restraints for a multi brand company that we did not want to workaround.

I just used the web integration

I think this is well designed product. I really enjoy that I am able to learn it quick, integrate all the socials very easily

• Pro: It gives me a central place to manage my Page.
• Pro: There are a lot of options to take advantage of, like Ads, available, which I hope to use more in the future.
• Pro: The pixel has allowed me to connect Facebook data with my website, and has been a good referral source.
• Con: There is so much I don't use because it is so complicated. I know I could get more use of it, but it's not going to happen anytime soon, and probably without help.

• I can on-charge the price of the subscription within my package, so I can charge it out for what I want, allowing me to make some profit
• Every one of my clients has loved using it, so they are more inclined to keep using our social media services
• Publer helps my business to look professional
