Method:CRM is a more affordable and user-friendly CRM. It is easier to manage Method:CRM without having to purchase a bunch of add-ons like you do with Salesforce. You get what you see in the demonstration without hidden costs. The ability to create custom fields is great. …
Chose MethodCRM
Method communicates with QuickBooks better than Salesforce did. Method also provides better tools for notes and opportunities than Business Central or ACT!

We chose Method:CRM for the QuickBooks integration. It was important for us to have integrations that allowed us to view payments, organize our contacts, and manage our sales force. There were some learning curves, however, such as creating activities, leads, customers and …
Chose MethodCRM
Method is by far the easiest of all platforms. It brings a lot of great features that salesforce has as well as email campaign features like constant contact, all in one. The only thing I would add would be more reporting and custom report capability.
Chose MethodCRM
Method is really designed for those who use QuickBooks. I like there is no cost to integrate with the software. Like other crm the user would have to an additional to integrate, but all features of QuickBooks would not able to integrate especially payments. Method has all …
Chose MethodCRM
I believe that Method:CRM is far superior to Salesforce and the others mentioned above for the following reasons:
  1. It is scalable and affordable.
  2. It doesn't take an engineering degree to learn how to use it.
Chose MethodCRM
I have not used other similar products.
Chose MethodCRM
It's highly customizable and user friendly.
Chose MethodCRM
We also have used a few other tools such as Insightly. Hands down Method: CRM lead management, quickbook automation & notifications wins the game.

Connectwise was a great product it was just not cost effective for our company. We actually really liked how Connectwise worked, it was just WAY too expensive.

Chose QuickBooks Online Advanced
Have not tried any other programs but QuickBooks is marketed pretty well that it became our first choice when we were setting up the business. It showcases that it was easy, simple and quite nice to use.

Chose QuickBooks Online Advanced
I have used other accounting software like Munis, ADS, and a few other Maine based accounting software. QuickBooks Online Advanced has proven to be more flexible, expandable, and reliable than others.

QuickBooks satisfies our current needs. Once I have more time to evaluate alternatives and their pricing, I will be in a better position to respond to this question.

Chose QuickBooks Online Advanced
We were set up in the first version of QBO by a previous bookkeeper and have not made the move to a different service due to the complexity of making such a move. We went from QBO standard to the advanced to be able to access more features.
Chose QuickBooks Online Advanced
QuickBooks Desktop is no longer being sold in the US, so we had to switch to the online version of the program. It is not a fully fleshed-out all-in-one solution offering everything the desktop version did. That being said, the desktop enterprise was overkill for many people.
Chose QuickBooks Online Advanced
QuickBooks Online Advanced isn’t as robust as Netsuite or Sage, but it is generally a great choice for most businesses. This software will meet or exceed the needs of most companies, and should be the first part of your accounting software decision. I would even reach out to a …

Method[:CRM] is well suited when you have a large company that needs to keep track of customers. It also connects with Quickbooks and that has really been nice for our organization. Our company is small so this really helps us stay on track and build our data base of customers.

I’ve been able to utilize functions within QuickBooks Online Advanced to serve purposes that were not the original intent. For example, when project management was first introduced, I saw the opportunity to use it for grant management, and as the functions have evolved, so have the possibilities. The unlimited use of classes allowed me to track income and expenses across 3 separate EIN entities, with a total of 28 departments, and produce clear, efficient, and reliable reports for internal use and federal and state reporting without having to have 3 separate accounting systems. When the State of Maine approved 10 public charter schools, I was able to introduce and implement QuickBooks Online Advanced to 8 of the 10 schools in a way that met State and Federal reporting requirements and needs. This allowed the schools to have affordable accounting systems that met the complexities of Maine State Department of Education reporting. In my current CFO role, I learned we have a need to manage shared customers across five entities and our current IES system does not meet our customer management needs.

Pros
  • The customization team is brilliant!
  • The various integrations, QBO & Gmail, help me keep track of all customer interactions.
  • The more organized I am, the more time I have to take care of my clients!
  • I have nothing but praise for the support team and the rest of the crew at Method.

  • It allows us to link to bank accounts in order to get up-to-date, real-time information, which is so important in today's lightning speed work world.
  • The "canned" reports are excellent and allow for extreme customization also. This makes them very helpful to both me and my clients.
  • The user interface for QuickBooks Online Advanced is easy to navigate and is intuitive for novices. The screens are well laid out and have cohesiveness on each screen to match tasks with others that match up well.

Cons
  • I believe there is room for improvement with scaling down on the customizing (sometimes having too much isn't always a good thing)
  • The estimate creator in Method is not as fluid as making an estimate in QB. (moving lines around, adding lines, etc.)

  • Proper advice in QuickBooks Online Pro for the usage if QuickBooks Online Advanced will be more efficient.
  • More features and space in the app for organization of the self-created workflows.
  • The stability of QuickBooks Online Advanced can still be better.
  • There are still file-size issues and limitations on transactions and attributes of transactions.

QuickBooks has a few things that still need worked out. As they have grown the software has become more functional and robust. This growth has allowed QuickBooks to remain our main software because it has grown and advanced with us. I look forward to seeing more changes and upgrades as the years go on

Usability
I'm fairly new to the company and have only been using Method for the last year and the ease of use has been a blessing for me. I've self trained on most of the aspects and have incorporated new operations in the company, based on what Method has to offer, that have enhanced the productivity for all associates.

I find it incredibly easy to use. I own a bookkeeping company, and all of my clients use QBO. I like the reports that are available and the ability to customize reports. I gave it a 9 instead of a 10 because some of my employees (who are not tech-savvy) find the changing platform difficult to use.

In the 5 years I have been using it, I cannot recall there ever having been an outage or not being able to access the system. Sure, there are issues with internet speeds sometimes that are unrelated to Intuit but it is a very reliable system.

Since we do not integrate the software with other systems, I do not have any issues with speed related to that. Pages tend to load pretty quickly, but there are times when reports or other pages take a little longer to load than usual. It is not an overly frustrating amount of time, though, and it happens infrequently.

The support is great. They are on the line within minutes and share screen to figure out the problem immediately. I would highly recommend this product for that reason. I do wish the customization was a bit easier to use; however, with fewer settings that are available to the end user and an easier way to read the customization.

10 – We were very satisfied with the implementation process. It was straightforward, required minimal change management, and did not disrupt our operations. The platform was easy to set up, and our team was able to adopt it quickly without extensive training. Overall, the implementation was efficient and aligned well with our expectations.

After using QBO, QBDP is marvelous. Take a cue from the desktop version. Vendor, Customer and Employee centers are great. Reporting is okay, but I can live with that. Payroll is excellent and I even file and pay my own taxes. I like that control. The fact that you can open multiple windows at one time is a God send. I do post mortems on all of the jobs and I may have 5 reports open at one time. (This would not be necessary if your reporting was better, linking more of QBDP database.) Everyday I am interrupted in a task to do a new one and I can go to exactly where I was in the previous task because I have multiple windows open. I am not going to stop harping on this until you do something about it. ALSO, I am not using your AI in QBOA

  • Method:CRM has probably saved me about 6-10 hours per week over the past few years.
  • It has likely saved our company several hundred hours in the last 10 years.
  • It has specifically saved us countless hours with better data management vs. having separate spreadsheets for keeping track of things.
