Oracle Cloud HCM is a much more mature product and supports better both the centralization of the processes and capturing the local variants. Especially the local piece was the biggest problem of other platforms. Oracle Cloud HCM also constantly improves its application, …
It was a business decision considering all the pros, cons, and cost. Also, with an organization already using an Oracle on-prem HCM product, it is more likely to move to HCM Cloud than other vendors.
I believe it's a superior produce because Oracle has designed it from the ground up with best practices in mind. They removed the ability to customize the product and taken away the need to do tools and application upgrades. They have also mimimized the need for heavy DBA …
We looked at systems for performance, but I cannot think of the names of the systems. And I’m sure our organization considered other systems at a higher level, but Oracle was the best platform to accommodate the majority of our operations and make it easier for IT to maintain …
Although Oracle HCM does not have the ability to be as customizable as PeopleSoft but it is more user-friendly. Also, the ability to use mobile devices with Oracle HCM is a great savings considering we have to build fluid pages separately in PeopleSoft.
The main factor was the price. The sales team did not seem very aggressive. We felt the personnel was very patient and provided good solutions. The existing relationship with Oracle also helped in making the decision.
It is much superior. We were using an Oracle on-premise solution so this was an obvious choice. Also, now that we have used it for 1 year I feel that we have nearly got even with our implementation cost. With the changes in Lear and Recruitment, my liking for this product has …
I did not have direct say in selecting HCM Cloud, but prior utilization of other Oracle systems made this a more seamless transition for the organization. With the complexity of our hospital system making such a change to other systems would not have been feasible at this time. …
Oracle PeopleSoft HCM solution was costlier than the Oracle HCM cloud application. Implementation time was more prolonged for Oracle PeopleSoft HCM. Also to support and maintain the on-premise application like PeopleSoftHCM, we required a huge workforce. The needs are the …
No other products has so many module and features like Oracle HCM cloud to server. The University community, especially the campus solution, it is unique to Oracle HCM Cloud. Other applications may be used for department level but not the whole organization level. Also, other …
The Oracle Fusion HCM was purchased without any evaluation before I joined Wesco based on the fact that our company is an Oracle shop and Oracle presented Fusion HCM as the only alternative. I would have done HCM evaluation in past assignments against Workday and PeopleSoft and …
I did not make the decision on Taleo, but it was user friendly for the administrator from the start to finish of the recruitment process.

Oracle stacked up really well. We went with Oracle because we already have oracle database and use APEX to integrate to our web application. So we already have worked with oracle in the past and got a package deal. Also the stability of Oracle is really what we were also …
Oracle HCM Cloud benefits include modern technology, open standards, choice in delivery and cloud portability. Oracle is raising the bar with regard to cloud ERP in terms of delivery options. Fusion can be procured as a traditional software license and installed on-premise, …
Oracle HCM is very much helpful and well suited in the recruitment and placement process and HR data. It makes it easier for HR in [organizations] to keep track of who is in and out of the [organization]. Improvement can be made by allowing employees to record their own data and update it as and when necessary without having to go through HR first.
You really need a big enterprise to take advantage of PeopleSoft. It is not entirely user-friendly, and it often requires massive amounts of customization to make it work for layers if you will. Business experts can figure it out, but if you are expecting someone to easily learn how to use the timekeeping modules without heavy customization, it's really not for you. You need to know going in, that this is not for a small business at all, and not even a medium-sized enterprise. It's geared to massive organizations that need to integrate business processes over geographic areas and multiple departments.
One of the best thing it does is it is customizable. You can implement any business logic you need. This is one of the very key assets of PeopleSoft Financials.
PeopleSoft Financials's accounting methods are in line with industry standards. You can use the process as is and ledger will be taken care of.
It supports multiple ways to integrate with other systems.
Government entities share data readily on applicants and HCM doesn't make it easy to have applications transferred between organizations. If applicants could apply once and send that application to multiple entities that would really make it more appealing to clients. This is a niche that is currently filled with NEOGOV, however Oracle's analytics are far superior to those in NEOGOV
There are no customizations allowed so clients need to work within the configuration standards or create a bolt on. Many times your greatest asset is also one of your biggest weaknesses.
Oracle is a large company and sometimes it can be hard to navigate the support matrix that they have set up. They also have tiers of support so you can pay more to get more, which isn't optimal from a customer point of view.
PeopleSoft Financials does not address the needs of small organizations that do not have a large enough staff to maintain the software or utilize the features it provides as it requires a moderate staff to keep track of all of the transactions and processing
PeopleSoft licensing costs are significant, which are relative to the features provided but in many cases those features may not be necessary
PeopleSoft licensing structures can be frustrating at times when certain modules would allow you to perform the complex task needed but it would require the entire module to be licensed for just that one feature (e.g. Cash Management for loading bank statements in certain formats)
Taleo does what we need it to do and based on the costs from both a time and money perspective, I don't see us changing anytime soon. If anything I think we will look to leverage the capabilities available that we may not already be using.
PRISM is a great tool to track and watch numerous financial documents. I would like to see more of an integration platform that would control tracking for specific project details. There is currently only a little section for job notes which I would like to see improve. I think navigation could be improved, but isn't the worst compared to some platforms I have worked with as it provides a tree like structure on the backend which helps synchronize information together for fiscal financials.
After the initial training's, it was quite intuitive to use the application. The application is based upon best practices and the overall flows are quite logical. The train stop approach also ensures that users understand where they are in the process cycle. Also, the number of clicks have been greatly rationalized to ensure that there is more streamlined experience.
The usability is very outdated In my opinion. The screens resemble those of Windows 3.1. Too many clicks and drop-downs or clicks to go to a new screen. The business logic also appears dated and requires an update. Overall, it does not have a pleasing User Interface and should be refreshed, or a new interface should be built from the ground up.
It works well. However we recently discovered that it no longer is supported on Internet Explorer so we had to change the default browser for everyone in our organization to MS Edge.
The rating is based upon our current level of support. The overall experience has vastly changed since we moved into product paid support. 'Also, with Oracle going with the model of quarterly patches, it makes sense to have the product company provide support to the overall application thereby eliminating the problems of bugs.
I can't give them a perfect rating because it does often take a long time and usually more [expensive] to resolve trying issues that cannot be solved by our in-house team. PeopleSoft is complicated, and the mix and match of user-created and stock modules cause problems very often. These usually require more customization to completely fix, requiring more money spent with
There is a lot of potential on Fusion. We have reaped about 10% of potential benefits. Especially on Workforce Intelligence, the opportunities are huge. The reason why we do not use the solution at its full potential is not in the product (which is simple and transparent). A roadmap is under construction to bring more of its potential to the end user.
I recommend that everyone pay special attention to developing a solid testing and training plan if you are even thinking of implementing PeopleSoft. Be ready to obtain good trainers and developers, otherwise, your journey can be unnecessarily painful and much more expensive. Try to stay with an implementation partner who really has your needs at heart, and actually takes the time to understand your organization!
Firstly, create a template for the data of human resources to be filled by the client with help from us, then We transformed the paperwork, excel, word sheets, did data cleansing and refined the data, and matched data with the correct fields inside the template and imported the data to oracle cloud hcm by using human capital management data loader
PeopleSoft is much more appropriate for large organizations than the software programs listed here. I'm involved in a project to bring billing and accounts receivable functions out of "shadow systems" like those listed here and into PeopleSoft, and PeopleSoft is more robust, flexible, and standardizable. We've found it to be an excellent solution.
We were not good at tracking any numbers around recruiting so now this last year we have been able to set the benchmark that we now can work toward improving.
At any given time, we could not say how many open positions we had. Now we are able to keep track of that.
We do a much better job with communicating with candidates now, especially the ones not selected. This will help us maintain a better reputation and attract the candidates back for other jobs they may be a better fit for in the future.
Provides better controls to ensure that spend does not increase beyond the PO amount.
sPro reverse invoicing provides a mechanism to only pay our staff aug firms for only the hours that entered into PeopleSoft. There is no more reconciliation between the vendor invoices and the hours that were charged within the internal time tracking system.
PeopleSoft Financials increases employee efficiency through the use of dashboards and work centers.
