My company decided to switch most likely to improve efficiency of dials and ease of use. This new software is much different as it helps the representatives keep track of their accounts and forces a certain amount of touches before giving up on accounts. This will save the reps …
Chose InsideSales Playbooks
Playbooks comes with many more features and it is not as glitchy. It allows me to consistently move forward in my tasks and not have to wait for a bunch of tabs to re load to complete my work.
Chose InsideSales Playbooks
I have only us InsideSales Predictive PowerDialer which enabled quicker dialing. Playbooks has so much more to offer including automation and cadence control.
Chose InsideSales Playbooks
I have never used another product like InsideSales.com Predictive Playbooks.
Chose InsideSales Playbooks
I like PowerDialer for speed. It was less bulky and didn't take up my screen, but Playbooks is better for cadence and setting appointments.
Chose InsideSales Playbooks
Playbooks is more efficient than Salesforce in letting me organize my day and know exactly who I need to call and when.
Chose InsideSales Playbooks
It's better than the lightning dialer as it logs calls a lot faster and everything works so much faster.
Chose InsideSales Playbooks
My company chose this tool to use, and I am really glad they did. Although I did not have a direct impact on the decision I am very happy they made this decision which I believe to be the best for our team!
Chose InsideSales Playbooks
This is the first product I have evaluated. But it still is one of the best I have ever used.
Chose InsideSales Playbooks
Playbooks offers a more streamlined way of entering data into Salesforce.
Chose InsideSales Playbooks
The PowerDialer was very easy to use but was simple. There was no organization or anything in that type of tool. It was simply to disposition your calls and that was it. Playbooks is much more predictive and intelligent. It makes it easy to organize accounts and call them …
Chose InsideSales Playbooks

Chose InsideSales Playbooks
It was paid for by my employer and implemented company-wide for the Business Development Department.
Chose InsideSales Playbooks
Playbooks is much better than base because it is far more intuitive and does not interrupt the workflow of the reps. Reps can also continue to work out of Salesforce reports if they have found that to be more effective, which is a huge plus over tools like base.

These tools are great, but they aren't built for what we use Reply for. Reply is perfect for doing these outbound campaigns at scale, whereas with ActiveCampaign and Vitally we were trying to turn the tools into something they are not.
Chose Reply
Reply is more user-friendly and has more features than the other tools I’ve used. It doesn’t have every feature we need, but it works better than the others that exist in the important aspects (connects to Gmail, accurate results, customization, etc.)
Chose Reply
Outreach did not cater to the Indian audience, hence went with my second best choice :)

I terms of outbound emails, I would say Reply.io is very similar to SalesLoft Cadence. I haven't used Cadence since last year, so there may be upgrades that I'm unaware of. But I prefer the interface for Reply and it's significantly cheaper. For teams smaller than 4 you can't …

Playbooks is great for sales organizations that need help with efficiency and cadence. It is well suited for heavy calling and high emails on accounts. Playbooks also does a great job at taking the guesswork out of accounts for my reps. The only time I would think that Playbooks would be less appropriate would be if a company already has a similar system in place.

Pros

  • Keeping reps focused & accountable - now, they know exactly what is expected of them for that day
  • Time efficiency - realizing what accounts to continue working, and what accounts to stop working

  • This product gives me the liberty to very easily and freely navigate all things on my own, which does not require many skills to start working.
  • This product gives us the leverage of creating our own tailored and personalized templates for our teams in just a matter of minutes.
  • This program is so automated that it performs everything on its own from LinkedIn to email search, to even booking meetings.
  • I found the onboarding process pretty great and efficient. I am really happy with the overall customer support. They are some of the nicest people I have met who are there to willingly help me at any time of need and problem.
  • Their usability is also hands down very good. However, I find their user interface to be slightly less user-friendly, so there is some degree of scope in the improvement of their user intuitiveness and user-friendliness.

Cons
  • There does seem to be a lot of steps involved for each play when it would be nice to have fewer steps to send out an invite to an upcoming webinar.
  • It would also be great to have more VOD's that we could watch on our own time to learn more about the tool.
  • It would also be great to have the ability to see exactly when they open an email and forward it on.

  • Syncing to other programs. You cannot interrelate Reply with other software in a simple way. Zapier is required and even then it’s not perfect.
  • Similar to syncing, there’s no way to export results of particular campaigns. This is awful. If I send out a campaign to a group, I’d like to export the results to enter into a CRM since I can’t sync the contacts. One of these features must be added ASAP.
  • Organization. While Reply itself is user-friendly, keeping campaigns and contacts and results organized is not. You cannot organize campaigns or file them away when they are done. Therefore you have to delete campaigns to stay organized and lose results, which you cannot even export.

Usability
It only took a day to get comfortable with Playbooks. The ease of use and overall usability is fantastic in the sense that it's pretty straightforward once you get enough repetitions in the tool. I also like all of the videos and resources available if support is needed

Reply’s overall usability is strong. The interface is intuitive, and most features are easy to navigate without much training. Creating and managing sequences is straightforward, and the automation flow saves a lot of manual effort. Occasionally, the dashboard can feel a bit cluttered, and reporting could be more flexible. But overall, it’s a user-friendly tool that allows teams to get started quickly and operate efficiently day to day

Salesloft is stronger for enterprise governance, dialer ecosystem, and deeper analytics. HubSpot offers the widest footprint with CRM, marketing automation, and complex workflows, but it’s heavier and pricier. We chose Reply for speed, cleaner UX, and cost efficiency. Tradeoff: it lacks some HubSpot extras like advanced workflows, ticketing, and multi-touch attribution.

  • Reply.io has been a lot more effective than MailChimp in terms of the follow-ups for the email chains. We use them to contact the people who said they wanted to do business with us and MailChimp's emails usually went to Promotions on Gmail. With Reply.io, we overcame this problem and the open rate improved 30%.
