For the most part, my day-to-day activities in Rippling are very easy to execute. It was a breeze getting set up when we first started, and regular work like sending out employment agreements or running payroll is extremely straightforward. For a smaller company like ours, after extensive research, we found it to be the best option. Compared to other similarly priced and rated payroll platforms in the market, they were also the only ones that gave us a demo and walked us through the platform so we could make an informed decision. The biggest downside is how long it took us to get set up with state tax agencies and get all our numbers processed. We're a fully remote company, and it would've been a lot smoother if Rippling had people who could help manage this process, so that we could take care of all our responsibilities without having to worry about that side of things. Having a tax consultant who can handle all the paperwork (even for a fee) would be a great add-on. It's been close to 5 months, and we're still waiting on numbers from North Carolina and it's just because we've never done it before, and aside from some help docs, Rippling doesn't offer much assistance here.

As it is very user friendly, you can use it even in companies where people are not yet digital, they should not have any problem with the system. The implementation must be done in house so you need a small dedicated team. In our case, we put 5 people together for 1 day and were able to customize the system.
There are still some minor youth issues so you need to be a bit flexible.

  • Has clear indications of where to find what you need, including a search bar.
  • Easy to look at past records on your payroll, and easy to look for co-workers if needed from an HR perspective.

Because it is through my current job I would recommend it to other friends with businesses both large and small. It is an easy to use app and it is super helpful and beneficial for time tracking and ensuring accuracy of the time clock. It notifies you when you are close to your allotted PTO limit which is also a neat feature.

I like that the availability in using Rippling at any given time is useful to me. Getting on the site freely when I need gives me security of knowing that I can be in control of viewing health insurance and hours information. I have yet to get any errors in using the Rippling app.

Rippling's performance has been great, no errors or glitches yet so far. I am confident that Going from one page to the next and all its complexity usage does not lag or times out, it works effectively and efficiently. While using Rippling and other apps it does not tend to slow it down, works great. No complaints.

Not a ton to say here, I have only had to contact support once in the past year, and the issue was resolved immediately. This is exactly how support should work - pain-free, very responsive, and there when I needed it. If the company is great, then support is one of those things you shouldn't need to think about.

The previous systems I have used have been internally built. In these scenarios, the data and logging of tasks/updates have tended to be clunky and it was hard to easily find the information you need. When it came to looking at par stub details, I had to do my own math and percentage breakdown to make sure my with-holdings actually made sense. In addition logging time off and tracking timesheets was a mess of a process because sometimes you had to manage two systems and old/new versions for certain features.

Reduction of the number of paper applications and CVs sent by email, centralized all the candidates’ information in one place. The things we value the most are candidate comparison, the comment section on the candidate profile, email templates and bulk emailing option, personal interview scheduling, and job multiposting. We would not change this tool to go back to our previous provider.

I can go on here and see all my hours and pto plus health benefits. I like to have the work handbook handy to refer to legal things. How to work my role within it's limits. Being able to put in my hours and view when they are approved is a huge benefit for me.

  • Rippling has made it incredibly simple for me to get the information I need when I need it
  • Rippling allows me to see the people I work with well, an especially important task for this remote environment
  • I've been able to save time in my day since I no longer have to goggle HR specific criteria thanks to Rippling
  • I also have been able to save time not having to go to all of the different sites to see things like my vested shares, 401k Balance, etc.
