Much better reporting capabilities but harder to track employee history and changes. The Onboarding process and tasks are efficient and easy to follow- I feel like Rippling has all the info in one place while in Workday you have to dig for info. Rippling is much more intuitive …
Rippling by far is the best against these other products due to its speed, ease of access, and efficiency. Kronos was severely outdated and the only thing it could really do is track punch in times. Workday is excessively bulky, unaesthetic, and slow to do anything and in …

Rippling is far easier and cheaper to use. It just does not have the deep integration with a wide range of SIEM and GRC tools, but we appreciate Rippling's simplicity. Rippling handles the basics we need VERY well with little admin effort, and, if properly configured, we have …
We selected Rippling because of its cost and ease of use. Our experience with Workday was not positive and we wanted to avoid a repeat of an expensive contract that ultimately does not serve our needs well. I also have a friend who works as an account manager for Rippling who …
Rippling has better design, it makes more sense to me, it also has more on the demand support and builds better rapport with the demos and one-on-ones to explain features, there are more features within the system, less bugs and more consistency. There just seems to be more …
Rippling was able to do all they they could do and more. And better. A major plus for us has also been the responsiveness from Rippling that we didn't get from customer support before.
Workday is built for large enterprises. Rippling is optimized for small to mid-sized businesses that want flexibility, fast execution, and fewer administrative hurdles. Rippling lets you pay only for what you use—payroll, benefits, device management, etc.—whereas Workday often …
Although I did not choose Rippling, I’m glad my company did! It’s the best platform I’ve used by far. It exceeds Workday's capabilities and is easier to use in terms of its user interface. I’d pick Rippling 10 times out of 10 over any HR platform I’ve used before, especially …
Rippling is easier to use, quicker to set up, and more affordable for small to mid-sized businesses. It combines HR, and IT in one place, saving time. Workday is better for large companies with complex needs, but it’s harder to learn and more expensive. Rippling is great for …
The Workday was unorganized, in my opinion. It has way too many tabs, which makes it difficult to schedule time off. Rippling is much more organized and has what you need right in your face. It immediately shows you the time off that you scheduled when it is approved. It …
Workday feels archaic compared to Rippling. To be honest I am not sure why my former employer used Workday for so long. Rippling uses best practices in UI / UX design that have been around for while, but nobody cared to implement. Rippling seems to be user-centric, actually …
Rippling had improved overall functionality compared to other softwares. There’s a practical use of a software but Rippling stands out for personal and professional use.
Rippling has the best UI/UX design. Its very user friendly and easy to navigate. It acts as a single source of truth for all the organisation related information. All employee details can be accessed by the admin from the organisation. It is less complicated than others. It's …
I am writing from a User prospective. I was not involved in the selection process. As long as I remember the previous HRMS was way more lagging in feature and Rippling has been pivotal in my experience impact from a employee prospective. I have been more timely in submission of …

I personally used Workday in my previous employment, but I am not the one who can choose which software we use. It's my first time using Rippling, and so far, I did not have any issues, and it's very easy to use.
Rippling has a much easier interface and usability. I love it way more than Workday and everything (almost everything except benefits) is housed within one platform for easy access. Workday was difficult to navigate and the dropdown menu never had all the options that you need …
While each of the tools demonstrated notable expertise in certain areas, it was the complete suite of features which fit the wide spectrum of requirement across organization that helped make the evaluation complete with the application / product which was able to not just meet …
Considering my past employers used Workday and Kronos, Rippling is miles ahead in terms of a friendly user interface and fast, easy access. For an environment like a fintech, Rippling is definitely the best one considering the need for a fast pace. I think Rippling would be less appropriate for a much older large company like a legacy bank that has built their entire HR systems already off of a different software. Making a transition for a company so large from Workday to Rippling would seem like a bit too much.
Workday Workforce Management has a lot of varying templates that give you a good place to start. You can tailor the if/then statements to your liking. When scheduling meetings, it scans for people on break/lunch/in other meetings and reduces conflicts that can derail an important meeting by someone having to leave early
It is really easy to navigate, I barely needed instruction on how to do things in it as it is very intuitive.
Ease of workflow mapping, it was easy to have emails auto-generated to our staff regarding their eLearn content or compliance requirements.
Onboarding was made much easier with the workflows, auto emails sent at different points in the onboarding process, ensuring everything gets done to prepare the company to accept the new hire and to inform the new hire of what to expect.
The AI assistant has always been able to direct me to the correct solution to any question i have about Rippling. Payroll is so easy, it takes about 10 minutes to go through the process.
The interface is very user-friendly. Everything you do on Rippling is communicated to you via email (for example, when your invoice is approved, when your payment will be received, and any login attempts). There are some things that need work, though, some minor issues with "where some menus are located", but those are minor things that don't spoil the overall experience with the product (but they should be addressed nonetheless).
The UI is a bit outdated and could be a bit more streamlined. There are a lot of clicks for a few items like updating employee information. The training section could be more integrated into the tasks section so users can see they have training right from their home screen.
I like that the availability in using Rippling at any given time is useful to me. Getting on the site freely when I need gives me security of knowing that I can be in control of viewing health insurance and hours information. I have yet to get any errors in using the Rippling app.
Rippling's performance has been great, no errors or glitches yet so far. I am confident that Going from one page to the next and all its complexity usage does not lag or times out, it works effectively and efficiently. While using Rippling and other apps it does not tend to slow it down, works great. No complaints.
When I did have to reach out to Rippling for assistance I was able to get quick help and my problem resolved in a time efficient manner with out any type of hick up. The customer support team is professional, kind and always available. This makes Rippling more welcoming to use on a daily basis.
It's really easy to implement in comparison to other tools or applications. Different key points are easily configured and implemented as per need, having different configurations in systems. Implementation is something which binds the different parameters of an organization in a single row. Implementation of rippling is much easier, quicker, and error free than any other software. I recommend it strongly!
We chose Rippling primarily based on cost and feature set available. As a small organization, budget is a high priority. Rippling gave us enterprise-level features at an affordable cost for an early stage start up. We appreciate that we have the opportunity to expand our feature set within Rippling as our business and workforce grow.
The only other tool I have used was paylocity. Paylocity is a great tool as well and is more user friendly, however it is not for as big of organizations as Workday is. I would say if you are under 1k employees go with Paylocity as it will be less expensive and has everything you need with a user friendly experience. Workday is great for larger orgs but doesn’t have as much of a user friendly experience
I can go on here and see all my hours and pto plus health benefits. I like to have the work handbook handy to refer to legal things. How to work my role within it's limits. Being able to put in my hours and view when they are approved is a huge benefit for me.
Our HR team used to spend almost three days doing payroll calculations before Rippling. This platform has cut that time down by 75%! Now they can devote the time they would've spent on payroll to other important tasks.
Rippling saves employees time by making time-tracking less of a headache.
Rippling has so many so many services that it's essentially a one-stop-shop for centralized HR solutions!
