Chose SendPulse
SendPulse was more professionally developed - the better usability. It was a reason we moved to SendPulse from Pipeline. The main problems were discovered during using this software
Chose SendPulse
For SendPulse's price point, I consider their competition to be the likes of MailChimp, ConstantContact, etc. While SendPulse rates roughly average across the board in all areas, for businesses looking for the cheapest option (which comes with a lack of features/quality), …
Chose SendPulse
This software has many advanced features which make it my favourite email service for sending newsletters. Its UI is very intuitive and easy to operate. Its drag and drop feature can create beautiful emails in very little time. In this software I can send email in specific …
Chose SendPulse
Its campaign editor feature makes it my favourite application for email marketing. It is extremely easy to send a campaign in very less time. And the results are very satisfying. So I switched to this application.
Chose SendPulse
Its integration with sms facility and Viber makes it different from others.
To be very honest I use all three facilities depending upon the content which i need to communicate to my subscribers. I use SendPulse more frequently because of its richness. And it delivers good …
We use SendPulse for different purposes - starting with regular email campaigns and up to push notifications and smart processes for increasing open rate. It's not the only service we use for our email marketing needs, but it's definitely one of the most powerful ones. It was …

SendPulse's artificial intelligence feature and the easy but powerful A/B Testing feature helps us test many subject ideas for our subscribers. The other similar product in the email marketing field doesn't have push notifications on the browser. Push notification is not and …

I transitioned recently from Mailchimp to SendPulse because I love to be able to customise my messages more so that emails are sent at the right time for each customer. This for me is a HUGE advantage that SendPulse provides. Additionally, even with a small list, Mailchimp was …
Chose SendPulse
SendPulse is a great new email provider for your businesses. I have worked with other clients in the past such as Constant Contact and Blue Hornet and haven't found as many talking points as I have with SendPulse.
Chose SendPulse
Sendpulse is a lot cheaper and has unique features like resend capabilities as well as AI options that others just don't offer. For our company, we need to get the best return on our time and money and with sendpulse's pricing and features we do.
Chose SendPulse
For me, it was the obvious choice if we compared SendPulse and MailChimp/MailerLite/Aweber. Some of the competitors don't have SMS/push features, some are too simple (MailerLite), some are too complex or not so intuitive. I always preferred more all-in-one tools, because …
Twilio
Chose Twilio
Out of all these other platforms I tried, I used ClickSend the longest before switching back to Twilio. I always kept going back to Twilio because it outperformed and and the savings were always bigger with Twilio.
Chose Twilio
Before Twilio, we used Take Blip for WhatsApp (chat) support and LogMeIn for call support.

Antes da Twilio, usávamos o Take Blip para os atendimentos de Whatsapp (chat) e o LogMeIn para os atendimentos de ligações (call).
Chose Twilio
I'll be honest it wasn't my decision to go with Twilio and I wasn't part of the buying committee. We chose to go with them since a different department of ours used their services previously and recommended and led the process with them when our issues were brought up to them.
Chose Twilio
It's more customizable and scalable. It's more of an enterprise solution with a complete platform that provides good SLAs compared to other vendors, which often will need to be supplemented to meet the full product suite
Chose Twilio
This is really geography-dependent. Bandwidth is good in the US, but they had a reliability issue a few years ago. They have similar pricing and are more open to partnering. Sinch is more telco-focused and has great reliability, not big in the US market. Infobip is EU based and …
Chose Twilio
Twilio was already there when I started.
Chose Twilio
We have looked at some of Twilio competitors, like Infobip, Sich and Bandwith. Prices on all of them for voice minutes and SMS are way cheaper than Twilio. But none of them seem to offer as many features and ease of use as Twilio. Specially from an API point of view
Chose Twilio
I haven't looked at other solutions
Chose Twilio
Some of the products we used were MSG91 and SMSala but the issue with them we got to know after the integrations that at some part of the world these integrations are not able to deliver important OTP sms and also it was hard to find solutions in their site. Then we switched to …
Chose Twilio
I think Twilio is as stable as Avaya in the sense that it comunicates well, but the market is really more into Avaya, so we had to go into a lot of effort to convince everyone in the company that Twilio was good and would work. I think it doesn't hold up againt Watson, because …

Chose Twilio
Twilio stacks up against competitors with its knowledge and experience in the messaging industry. Others lack the ability and know how, to compete effectively. Twilio knows how to do business in complex regions worldwide, and we are so happy to have Twilio as our partner to …
Chose Twilio
Twilio has given us more competitive rates than the other providers.
Chose Twilio
Twilio is most easy to implement and operate comparing with other solutions in the wide-industry. Easy to use, quickly integration, and excellent API documentation was helpful to developers for integrate Twilio solutions in our applications.
Chose Twilio
I’m using or have used these services. I like to try multiple applications. I’ve selected Twilio because the documentation in C# is amazing.
Chose Twilio
We evaluated many fundraising-based text-to-give programs and found the subscriptions prohibitively expensive for our small scale and uncertain first few years of development. While we may be willing to invest that kind of money after discovering how things work, we're happy …
Chose Twilio
We needed a tool that could be implemented into our software. Since Twilio offers libraries that can be programmed into any software, we decided to use Twilio. Also, the documentation and prices were better.
Chose Twilio
Twilio was referred to me by a business colleague, and I can't be more thankful! Twilio has helped my Facebook page by leaps and bounds, and I haven't even considered trying another chat option for my page. It is easy to set up, and customer service is quick to answer any and …

In my department it is very well suited. It is one of the best application for sending weekly newsletters to my clients. I use it to send important market information to my clients on a regular basis. The kind of templates it provides me I fill with adequate information for my clients. It also allows me to present that information in a very organised manner.

I have tried other competitors. But I always end up going back to Twilio because I feel like it is dependable, easy to use, and, has competitive pricing. The only time I wouldn't recommend Twilio to someone as if they are completely inexperienced about using webhooks or APIs. Because you can't really just sign up and start using Twilio without connecting it to another platform first.

Pros
  • I feel its User Interface is one of the strengths. It is very simple to operate. It is not necessary for any user to have good knowledge of newsletters design or e-mailer design to make a good and informative e-mail design on this software.
  • Its technical ability to send user's campaign to customer's Inbox is something which one can rely on. Its deliver-ability is almost 100 percent.
  • It gives detailed analysis of any campaign. And this feature is very necessary for any software to help its users to understand the outcome of that email activity. SendPulse is awesome in this feature. It gives you detailed statistics to analyse your campaign. Users can download these statistics in PDF and Excel format also.

  • Easy to see my team in one place, when they log in and out and what call status they are in.
  • Twilio is a simple, user friendly way to log in and out of work activities.
  • Excellent services and support.
  • The omnichannel feature which allows agents to get request from all channels.

Cons
  • I like its Drag and Drop function to design e-mailers but it lacks in some functionalities. Foe example when I write two different contents in a same box I need a line to show separation between my contents in the same box but this feature is unavailable in SendPulse.
  • They should include more fonts. Every product or service needs different kind of fonts to make a right impact on customers. With limited option of fonts it restricts user's creativity.
  • It is good to have templates to give users some idea for designing campaigns but here SendPluse has nothing much to offer. They have very limited number of templates.

  • Authy does not support the "push button" multi-factor authentication from your application's native apps. This means if you want to use Authy, you still need to use TOTP based codes.
  • Not really a shortcoming of Authy, but it does nothing to help with multi-factor authentication using text messages - those are still sent to your platform's messaging app.
  • Authy doesn't always display how much time is left before your current token expires, making it difficult to know how much time you have left to enter the current code.

Because I love how easy and intuitive SendPulse is.

We are happy with Twilio because the price per message is low. The API is not difficult to implement and the documentation is very complete. Twilio as a company keeps you well informed of issues that happen. They also offer free online workshops or conferences to make notices of new laws, etc.

Usability
I find that overall SendPulse is very intuitive to use and the support is there to help you out in case you don't find how to do what you wish to do. The drag and drop functionalities make it easy to create the newsletters you want. Every field is explained and small tutorials are included to show you how to create a new template, newsletter, etc. which makes it very easy to use.

Overall the product API is extremely well documented so it is very easy to build a product with their technology. The website is a little bit cumbersome to use as they have greatly expanded the number of products that they have over the years, but the dashboard UI has not been improved much since.

Twilio executes what it is designed to do: send SMS messages at scale while providing very good deliverability. I believe that Twilio is very good at what we use for adding SMS messages to our comms strategy. We can see those messages get opened and replied to, which is exactly what we are looking to achieve.

Support Rating
Every time I contacted the support team with a question or a problem, they were very fast in replying and helping me out solve it. Usually latest within 10 minutes I would receive a first answer, and the problem would get solved on the same day.

When implementing SendPulse, it is a good idea to have a transition phase where you still use both systems, in case anything goes wrong.

For SendPulse's price point, I consider their competition to be the likes of Mailchimp, ConstantContact, etc. While SendPulse rates roughly average across the board in all areas, for businesses looking for the cheapest option (which comes with a lack of features/quality), ConstantContact beats them. For quality/features/value, I'd say Mailchimp is the best option for small businesses.

Return on Investment
  • Tapping NRI clients with this software helps me in generating good revenue in last financial year.
  • I grow my NRI database by 60 in last year. And this software played a major role in doing so.
  • It made brand building very easy among my clients.

  • We found that associates who had the opportunity to respond to a survey about their assigned job were 37% more likely to return to a job site
  • We were able to reduce the number of resources required to manually respond to associates using Twilio Studio, so those resources could have more time to complete other tasks
  • We were able to scale the number of associates who received survey messages at least by a factor of 8 without increasing our resource demand
