Bigin for our Manufacturing Business

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We are a Manufacturing & Installation company and have been trialling Bigin. I think it is reasonably easy to set up and tailor to your requirements, although I don't think that any pre-built system will work exactly as you want it to, so there have to be some work arounds and compromise but generally I think it is a good, user-friendly system. We have had a few issues, with the phone number not showing up when scheduling calls and linking it to a lead/order, so I have had to add a field and copy and paste the number so it now shows, albeit it's an extra thing to do. Also, we thought that all notes etc would copy across when converting a lead to an order, but now that we have had the Connected Records explained it is much easier. We have a number of sub-pipelines in our orders and continue to adapt the stages in these so it works for us, and some areas are a little clunky, but I think with time we can make it work.

Pros

  • Allowing you to customise the fields and stages to suit your requirements
  • Ability to set up automations to convert a Won lead to an Order

Cons

  • Showing the telephone number in scheduled calls that are linked to a project

Return on Investment

  • Too early to say

A smart choice for small businesses

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I own a transaction-based small consulting and training firm with a fairly manageable customer base, but I am a mess coordinating all the marketing and sales activities so I needed a CRM to get some sort of control over these processes. I tried to use hubspot free subscription and it was doing an ok job, but it fell short on what I needed so I had to look for another option and landed in Bigin by Zoho CRM. This is a game-changer, everything is so easy (from signing in to using it every day) and user-friendly (as other reviewer pointed out: it's stupid proof). I've been using it for a couple of months now and I have zero complains. I'm very happy with the level of functionality it offers in the entry-level subscription which covers almost all my needs. And for things that are out of the scope of Bigin by Zoho CRM, like marketing campaigns and quotes&invoices, there's a lot of other products from Zoho that can be leveraged.

Pros

  • UI is very ease to understand and navigate
  • Learning curve is almost flat!
  • Has all the basic CRM functionality to run a small business

Cons

  • A basic marketing campaigns functionality would be nice
  • Lack of quotation function.

Return on Investment

  • Positive: now I have control over my marketing and sales processes
  • I know exactly how my business looks like: what opportunities are active, how my forecast looks, what is the state of all the opportunities, what tasks are pending....

How well does Bigin work for small and medium-sized businesses?

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

After my consulting firm's client base began to grow, I found it necessary to implement Bigin by Zoho to manage them and identify cross-selling opportunities among existing clients. Furthermore, the platform allows me to distinguish between current and prospective clients, enabling the development of new marketing strategies, while its tracking features for calls, meetings, and virtual appointments are highly functional and practical to manage.

The Solopreneur's ideal CRM

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I am an experienced Salesforce Administrator and well-versed in Monday.com. I was the implementation and deployment specialist for every SaaS when I was an employee for my employers. But now I own my own business, and I need a quality CRM that does all the things, without the SF and Monday.com costs. It's that simple. Bigin by Zoho CRM does all the things those other products do just as well, if not better in a few cases. The UI is super easy to follow for the experienced CRM user but they also provide lots of free trainings and resources for the novice user. It's stupid proof, essentially. I cannot complain and the fact that its on ZOHO means I can use the array of Zoho Business products that are available. I used to play around in Zoho several years back but never employed it at workplaces, but for my business, Zoho is key. I have recommended it to 3 of my fellow soloprenueurs.

Pros

  • Easy Contact/Company adding
  • Lead importation
  • Great UI
  • Phone integration for free if you have a VOIP - and it pops on screen in/outbound

Cons

  • I haven't seen any honestly.
  • I am not being facetious.
  • I mean it.

Return on Investment

  • Great ROI
  • Great product and does exactly what i need it to do at this stage of my young business
  • I feel like I am on top of my pipeline.

Best CRM for Ease of Use and Straightforward.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Bigin with our sales campaign and contact management. It mainly helps with the Sales process and tracking my agents' progress. Helps us with pipeline management as well. We were mainly looking for a simpler, easier-to-use CRM. Bigin gave us both, and the features are enough. It's not complicated compared to other CRM that we tested, and the price is quite fair.

Pros

  • Easy to use, very user friendly.
  • Fits the budget for small business, and those who just started their business.
  • Easy to integrate with 3rd party tools.

Cons

  • While the reporting features are somewhat limited, they remain sufficient for our core requirements.
  • Mobile App is working, but needs improvement.
  • Leads should be separate from contacts to better manage cold outreach.

Return on Investment

  • The platform provides clear visibility into our pipeline, ensuring every lead is tracked and managed.
  • The platform provides a secure audit trail for all prospects, so no lead is ever misplaced.
