We use Khoros Social Media Management for social listening and crisis management. It helps us to understand brands reputation better and reduce brand risk, by monitoring online conversations and social mentions. We also monitor trends, brands' competitors, and understand what people are telling about the brands we work with in order to maximize positive convos and reduce negative ones.
Pros
Social listening
Crisis management
Competitors monitoring
Cons
It could be better at analyzing sentiment
I don't really see the benefit of social planning
Likelihood to Recommend
I really appreciate how Khoros Social Media Management handles social listening for crisis management, as we can get informed anytime our brand is mentioned on social or elsewhere on the internet. It is truly helpful to stay in touch with the pulse of the brands that need constant checks on their daily reputation.
We used to use Khoros Social Media Management as our social media management tool, but at that time the interface felt outdated, and the platform didn't have as much powerful tools as their competitors. The Analytics module by the way is really impressive, and that's a good point to highlight. Overall Khoros Social Media Management didn't fit our needs so we changed the social media management platform to another one more "mature" and "robust".
Pros
Analytics module
Basic post scheduling
Smart scheduling
Cons
Lack of native social networks functions
Outdated UI
Steep learning curve
Likelihood to Recommend
Khoros Social Media Management is great for mid-size companies that are looking for simple yet functional social media management platforms. The lack of some native social networks function like geo-blocking posts on X, or some advanced facebook functions makes the tool does not stand out among the competitors. However, the smart scheduling option and analytics are great built-in features to be honest.
The organization I work for uses Khoros Social for two vastly different clients. We can efficiently moderate, respond to, and escalate multiple issues on various platforms for the client. Thanks to Khoros, we can check multiple platforms within our required SLAs. Escalations can be made promptly as well.
Pros
Moderation
Data
Meets time constraints.
Cons
Slightly less options with set up areas.
Likelihood to Recommend
While I cannot say any scenarios where Khoros wouldn't be useful (when it comes to social media moderation), I can say it is very well suited for clients who have time constraints on their work. With the speed Khoros can pull in new content, we see issues for the client almost immediately.
We use Kharos for all social media planning, posting our content on different social media platforms, and social listening. This software helps us measure our performance on different social media platforms. We also used it for competition analysis. Overall, it is a good software for social media management.
Pros
Social media listening.
Social media content analysis.
Social media planning.
Cons
Customer care.
Improvement in Dashboard.
Some metrics are still missing in the dashboard.
Likelihood to Recommend
Well suited—a one-stop solution for all the social media tasks. Less appropriate—Some important metrics are still missing from the dashboard.
I used Khoros marketing. It helps us with our social media work. With the help of Khoros marketing, we schedule our content across multiple social media platforms. It really helps us with social listening and monitoring. Analysis and reporting were also decent. I would recommend to users who eat, sleep, and drink social media.
Pros
Schedule Content.
Social Media Monitoring and Listening.
Analysis and reporting.
Cons
They can improve the Analytics part.
Promotions part can also improved.

Khoros marketing saves a lot of our time. With the help of this tool, we can schedule and analyze our social media posts. They give good insights.
We use Khoros Marketing for our organic social media channels, specifically for scheduling and care management. Personally, I used Khoros Marketing to build an editorial calendar and schedule out posts for the month.
Pros
The calendar view makes it easy to see all upcoming posts.
Khoros Marketing makes it easy to draft a new post on mobile.
Khoros Marketing lets you filter out posts to only see accounts relevant to you and organic posts, not care responses.
Cons
I wish it could be easier to differentiate between platforms when posting, like adding links for FB and not for IG.
Khoros Marketing limits the amount of content I can directly publish to Instagram.
I’d like to see the amount of posts that fail to publish be reduced. It’s frustrating to have to check social on the weekends to make sure a post I scheduled actually went live.

I would recommend this to people looking for a easy to use interface when it comes to scheduling posts.
Utilised the application to help our client perform and monitor customer research, as well as to organise their editorial schedule across channels. This tool was mostly used to schedule and approve content and keep track of social media mentions.
Pros
Always new features added fast
Inexperienced users can use it
Cons
Some bugs sometimes when trying to schedule posts
Could have more social platforms in the inbox part

My client began utilising Khoros to effectively respond to customer inquiries on many social media platforms; plan, organise, and post content; and carry out analytics that might be vital in our marketing decision-making. I think Khoros is fairly decent in terms of customisation; the calendar view is visually appealing, and the approval procedure is a great feature that allows information to be evaluated before it is released.

The best it could be used for is running campaigns. Be it a product launch or be it any new event that you are hosting. If you need to quickly grab attention, then this might be your choice. Also the report given after the campaign is a good insight for improving your next campaign.
Khoros is our all-in-one social platform that allows us to manage our engagement and connections with our audience. We've used Khoros for almost two years now, having used Sprout beforehand. I much prefer the workflow planning options available in Khoros. With this platform, we can easily manage subtasks among team members. We are also big fans of being able to manage our paid and organic engagement intiatives within the same platform. Before, we found it difficult to decipher the reach and engagement we achieved between paid and organic, but Khoros makes it easy.
Pros
The ease of workflow optimization makes Khoros stand out.
The scale that we achieve across channels using Khoros has been impressive.
Khoros' audience insights are very impressive and wide-spanning.
Cons
More explanation for beginner users -- perhaps some demo walkthroughs would be helpful for teams using Khoros for the first time.

I would definitely recommend using Khoros for social platform management, particularly across cross-functional marketing teams. Being able to manage paid and organic campaigns within the same platform has been super helpful when it comes to integrating the content and customer marketing teams. The data that we are able to report from Khoros is much more streamlined.
