Reliable and Powerful Monitoring Platform for Complex Infrastructure.
Use Cases and Deployment Scope
For the last few months, we have been using LogicMonitor in our real production environments. It monitors servers, routers, switches, cloud resources, and even infrastructure such as UPS power without requiring heavy agents. Lightweight collectors pull data from across the entire environment. Different teams, such as NOC and network teams, can use separate dashboards. Real-time monitoring helps detect issues before users notice them.
Pros
- Deep and highly customizable monitoring across many systems.
- Fast, real-time alerts with no noticeable delay.
- Helpful and responsive customer support during onboarding and tuning.
Cons
- The UI can feel clunky and hard to navigate at times.
- The Enterprise level pricing is expensive.
Likelihood to Recommend
I would recommend LogicMonitor to mid-sized IT teams or MSPs. I thought it was going to be just another monitoring tool, but the more you work with it, the more you realize how solid it actually is; now it's a full-on platform. I've had a really good experience with Logic Monitor. It's powerful, a little messy in Parts. But once it's running smoothly, it's kind of a beast, definitely made my life easier.
