LogicMonitor has been used by our company to gain a deeper comprehension of our business operations. In our organization, LogicMonitor primarily monitors about 5000 systems. The majority of our data is client and financial information, which must be protected. We use LoicMonitor to encrypt our data and maintain the security of our systems, as without it, our business would fail. We have a dedicated IT team that works on LogicMonitor to keep our systems safe.

Infrastructure

Our company employs approximately 5,000 people, and since we provide each employee with the same systems, they are uniform. Most employees work onsite, and some higher-level employees work in a hybrid model as well. Every system in our organization is subject to monitoring for security purposes, per our company policy. Therefore, we like to monitor all of them using LogicMonitor, regardless of whether the system is on-premises or in travel mode.

Automation

In the past, our staff members performed the majority of tasks manually, such as identifying security flaws and other functions that could be automated. LogicMonitor now handles repetitive tasks and monitors our security checks and security work. It has integrated seamlessly with our existing tools, keeping our work on track. It constantly monitors our financial applications.

Implementation Rating

I did not truly dedicate myself to implementing LogicMonitor. However, I overheard the IT team members explain that "LogicMonitor is perfect for us as it has made most of the work automated, and implementation and training sessions were perfect for us." Thus, I can state that everything went smoothly with our implementation.

Alternatives Considered

Datadog, Zabbix, Nagios XI and PRTG Network Monitor

Our business used the trial period they provided on one of our systems and conducted sessions with all of this software. Our team tested all of these software options before deciding on LogicMonitor, as our business is expanding daily and we needed a system that could accommodate our growing workforce and automatically add systems to our network, which LogicMonitor alone provided.

I have given it a perfect score, and I have a perfect explanation, or perhaps I should say a perfect example, for my decision. Approximately 10 days prior, one of our employees connected his USB drive to our systems. Once he did that, our system started hanging due to a virus on the pendrive, and our systems began acting differently. However, thanks to LogicMonitor, we received an alert indicating that one device was connected to our system. Our IT team and LogicMonitor resolved our issue and brought our systems back online in minutes.
