NS1 Connect does DNS very well
Use Cases and Deployment Scope
We use it for DNS management and routing traffic for our applications. Our goal is to reduce the outages and keep the dns propagation or modification faster on the internet.
Also, i love how it helps me to avoid manual dns switch - like if any region has a issue it quickly switches. I find it more reliable than the previous DNS services i have used. Also, it helps my team to navigate their focus more to production work instead of managing DNS downtimes.

Pros
- It handles traffic routing very well
- NS1 platform is very strong in api automation
- it performs well in case of failovers management
Cons
- User interface - there is lot of room for improvement - In this case your competitors are doing very well.
- Also, creating very helpful knowledgebase - it would help people with less networking knowledge can use your platform more
- Reporting side can be visually better - Basically UI UX
Return on Investment
- I think the biggest impact of NS1 is its uptime and reliability
- It reduces my team manual work from the infra team
- in terms of failover or switchting to lower latency endpoints this works flawlessly
