Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We work with the State Board of Elections to schedule their election judges' training. We pre-load all judges' information who are eligible for training into Omnify so the judges can schedule their classes. This product also allows us to schedule for them if they are unable to themselves.

Pros

  • Their support team is very responsive and goes out of their way to customize our setup as much as they are able to.
  • Setting up the configuration, look and feel of the booking site is easy.
  • Scheduling appointments from the back-end of the system is very easy.

Cons

  • There is no ability to get rid of the "cost" information when booking even if your classes are free.
  • If your users don't have email addresses they can't schedule online themselves.
  • The reporting could be a little more robust.

Likelihood to Recommend

If your user base doesn't have email addresses this probably won't work well for you. If they do, this system should work well for any project, large or small, for scheduling classes and other functions.

We've always struggled with managing bookings and scheduling them. Taking payments and keeping track of the sessions because of the high number of clients and low manpower. But it's become easy with Omnify. Saved a lot of time and manpower for us.

We started using Omnify with our sister property in Tampa for pool reservations. We were looking for an easy and convenient way for residents to schedule time at the pool. Aravind and Kruthika were great in assisting us with the process. I am very pleased with their response time and willingness to assist.

  • Omnify has an easy scan in QR code.
  • Easy way to cancel a time slot and send a message to the people who reserved that time slot.
  • Easy way to control who the residents/customers add to the time slots.

Great registration option for our sports organization!

We are using it for class and camp registrations. We needed a platform where we could collect registrations, payments, ask survey questions, collect waivers and build business and it does all of that for us.

Pros

  • It’s very easy to set up from the admin side. There are so many tutorials provided and everything f is very simple and straight forward.
  • Customer support is exceptional. Aravind, my customer success associate, has helped me patiently through the entire process and is quick to answer questions, help me with fixes, and check in to make sure things are going smoothly.

Cons

  • I’ve run into some issues with dates not showing up or functioning correctly but it has been addressed quickly.
  • It seems like their classpack functions still have some kinks to work out. That was a bit confusing to set up and I’ve run into some bugs and inconsistencies but again, it’s been quickly addressed.

Well suited for any sports or fitness registrations for single or ongoing classes and camps.

Company wide Omnify has been recommended by the owners as an excellent software for pool reservations within our communities

Pros

  • Customer service, specifically, Shailja Rohillah went above and beyond to assist me
  • Software is user friendly and with the personal live onboarding, all questions were answered
  • Ability to personalize the site to match each specific community is key

Cons

  • Ability to organize classes by time, although Shailja Rohillah, found me a work around and actually did all the background work for me! Could not ask for more exceptional customer service!

Likelihood to Recommend

Shailja Rohillah, of Omnify, went above and beyond to respond quickly and did everything she could to accommodate my needs. Even when the exact thing I wanted, was not an option, Shailija not only found a work around but put the time in herself to address my need.

I am the manager of a property management company and we have three community pools and Omnify helps us facilitate safe access and use of the pool facilities during the global pandemic. We use Omnify during the pool season, but see advantages to expanding its use to facility rentals and common area reservations also.

The team at Omnify was very skilled and able to look at unique issues such as limiting the ability to make reservations to only those in our community. Omnify is very flexible and the team behind the product like Ms. Shailja Rohillah are able to provide any additional customization needed to suit you specific needs.

Pros

  • Omnify's customer service during setup is excellent. Very knowledgeable and patient.
  • Omnify's seems infinitely customizable to suit any need.
  • Omnify's web presence is simple to use to make a reservation.
  • Omnify can be customized to include pictures of your business, facility, etc.

Cons

  • Omnify does not have experts in every field working the customer service lines and are not intimately familiar with all facets of all business types and so think about how your going to use the system and if you need to filter those that access your site. Problem solving takes some collaboration to be most successful.
  • If you need to invite your customers, vs. allow them to find you, Omnify should make it part of the process to send sample/draft emails to the host/purchaser before sending them to your customers.
  • Omnify's flexibility allows multiple avenues to fix the same problem, but some of the fixes work better than others and some sort of hierarchical decision tree to help you understand and explain the flow of data, customers, reservations, etc. better. Their team can fix or customize anything but the customer doesn't know the scope of that and how it relates to their business when initially making an Omnify account.

Likelihood to Recommend

Omnify is great for setting reservations to use a facility or item. I don't know how we would have facilitated use of three community pools during a global pandemic without Omnify and it was simple for our community members to sign up for and use.

I think that Omnify's customization makes it well suited for nearly any business that manages time like they do their clientele.

We are using Omnify at all three of our outdoor pools for reserving lap swimming lanes and family swim spaces due to Covid restrictions. We needed system that would allow easy online access but also limit the number of reservations guests could have per week.

Pros

  • Omnfiy is very responsive to questions and concerns. I hear from them frequently and have an open line of communication when I run into challenges.
  • They were extremely helpful in the setup of the system we are using
  • They have been very flexible and were willing to help meet our needs as an organization.

Cons

  • Our only challenge is that we need our customers to be able to make more than one reservation per transaction.

We are a small children's chess coaching company that runs classes and events. We use Omnify across our organization specifically to manage registration and payments for our students. Specifically it is helpful for membership management for our students as we can enable auto-pay and auto-renew so our students don't have to fill out new forms every month.

Pros

  • Auto-pay and auto-renew functions are very nice so clients don't have to fill out new forms every month.
  • Auto-emails for new clients and class reminders allow us to send information to our clients quickly and automatically without having to follow up on every single new client.
  • The discount options are very nice so we can work with all our clients and help them out, especially since our business has always used need-based scholarships

Cons

  • The biggest area for improvement is data exporting. We collect a lot of custom information beyond just name, email, and phone number when our students register and we need access to it especially since we work with children. When exporting clients to an excel sheet for example, omnify will only carry over that basic name email and phone number, not any of the custom fields.
  • Allowing us to adjust the amount our members are charged during auto pay would be incredibly helpful. Right now, when applying a discount to a booking through omnify it only applies to the first payment, and as a user I am not able to expand that over the entire time a student is with us without creating a new booking each month for each client.
  • Personalizing the storefront is a bit limited, for example, from our storefront end there is no way for a client to see a full monthly calendar of all our class options, and classpacks and memberships are displayed on the same page, sometimes making our students options look too overwhelming.

I would say if I were recommending a product that could help with registration in a field where you need to gather lots of information about your clients, this would not be my first pick. I would however recommend it based on the sleek and comfortable storefront design and the ease of the auto-renew and auto-pay features, especially when you're running a program that uses memberships or generally has returning customers.

We used Omnify to book appointments & classes online, as well as managing the schedule of the practitioners working in the clinic (which is the onsite care facility inside a university). Only the health clinic used Omnify. It helped me manage all the business operations remotely which is great given that I travel a fair amount.

Pros

  • Online schedule & Bookings w/ payment.
  • Linking sales to appointments & to clients in a seamless way.
  • Integration with Google Calendar for easy access & integration with personal schedule.
  • Customer service & IT support.

Cons

  • Focus more on group classes than on individual appointments.
  • Payment errors at times.

Likelihood to Recommend

Omnify is great for any small business or entrepreneur that is getting started with online bookings & payments. They are great to schedule group classes and have integrated well with Zoom to keep up with the digital boom happening this year.

It is less suited for spa or boutique businesses whose main operations are 1-on-1 appointments, since that side of the platform has been less of a priority for development.

Omnify is utilized by the resident property management portfolio in scheduling appointments for our business offices and amenities. It addresses our need in monitoring the use of our facilities in controlled numbers. It has allowed us to open our amenities to our residents which would otherwise still be closed due to the pandemic.

  • Customer service is amazing during setup.
  • Professionally created app and customer experience.
  • Ease of use, control of business and peace of mind.

Cons

  • Better training videos to use at our own pace.
  • Create a user manual.

Likelihood to Recommend

I am most impressed with the ease of use and customer service. The app allows customers to schedule their own appointments at their convenience and not wait on a telephone call back. It also allows them to view the rules of the facility including Covid questions prior to scheduling. If the schedule is full it allows for a waiting list which is automatically contacted if the schedule has an opening. Very user friendly with customer satisfaction.
