What is SpinOffice CRM?

SpinOffice CRM is a cloud-based customer relationship management (CRM) software designed to assist businesses of various sizes in managing customer interactions, improving communication, and enhancing productivity. This CRM solution caters to a wide range of professions and industries, including sales teams, customer service teams, marketing teams, project management teams, and professional services such as consultants, lawyers, and accountants.

Key Features

Multi-User Usage: According to the vendor, SpinOffice CRM allows multiple users to collaborate and share information within the same shared database. Colleagues can be invited to participate, and all users can view customer records, emails, and documents. In the Pro version, users have the ability to define rules for data sharing with peers, management, and subordinates. Groups can also be created to manage a common set of records with a group of members.

Security & Privacy: The vendor states that SpinOffice CRM ensures data security and privacy as a cloud-based CRM application running in their cloud. Personal data is processed according to relevant legislation, such as the Personal Data Protection Act. User information is not shared with third parties, except when required by law or with explicit permission. The vendor takes organizational and technological measures to ensure the security and confidentiality of personal information. SpinOffice CRM complies with GDPR regulations and offers measures to protect user data.

Daily Backups: According to the vendor, SpinOffice CRM automatically creates external backups of the database on a daily schedule, including messages, files, and contacts. Cloud backups provide safe storage externally, eliminating risks such as fire and theft. Data is continuously available, encrypted, and stored in a secure data center. Snapshots of all changes made to files in the database are kept for the past 5 days, with older versions stored for 100 days.

The data center used is located within the EU, with a private network and encrypted databases. AWS provides security, reliability, scalability, high performance, and cost-efficiency for SpinOffice CRM, which currently runs over 4500 client databases on AWS.

Roles & Permissions: According to the vendor, SpinOffice CRM offers role-based security, allowing data accessibility based on the organization's hierarchy. User profiles define permissions to relevant features in CRM, providing control over user access. Groups can be created to extend data-level access to users with similar job profiles. Role and rights definitions are available for Pro database users, but not for free Limited users.

Two-factor Authentication: The vendor states that two-factor authentication is an optional but highly recommended security feature in a Pro database. It adds an extra layer of security by requiring a six-digit security code in addition to the password during login.
