Zoho Assist is a great tool in managing your staff device remotely. We definitely control their machine, help them with their issues, apart from that if there are any security concerns, zoho helps us to address it by applying these fixes. I couldn’t say it is appropriate for deploying mass fixes for 300 computers at one go.

I use Zoho Assist to provide computer support from BC head office to our users in east side Canada province. Most of time I remote control to see and solve the problem, rather than spend time hear user's complain. I rely on Unattended Access function to solve problem under extremely difficult situation, for example not able to connect VPN, Windows system crush...etc
Pros
One user's computer screen is black, no task bar and start button, after system crush, Unattended Access help me remote control it and use tools under quick Launch to change system settings and created new account for the user, so she can work few hours later.
One user computer need help vpn setup but it is not on Unattended Access list, so I create a temporarily Remote Support session, send the link to him by WhatsApp, after he download and install agent, I can connect and remote control it.
Sometimes user computer has randomly happening issue, I will connect it by Zoho Assist, record the remote screen, then will catch the issue and know it's triggered
sometimes I use video chat as a meeting tool with users
The file transfer by web client is useful for me, most of time is to upload files into user computer when it is not able to access our network drive
Cons
each Unattended Access computer has tools to remote control without remote connect, I wish add a text chat

One of our user called me in the morning time, she is crazy by the computer. The system is damaged, when she login, all the screen is black. She needs to fly to global head office for important meeting. She has PP files need to present, but whole black screen doesn't have button or taskbar to run program. Fortunately the computer has internet and it's already installed Zoho Assist Unatteneded Access agent, I connect to it directly, use Zoho power option to log off and login as admin account, but screen is still black, then I launch command prompt from Zoho tools, try restore the system to old point, but still failed, then I use Zoho tool to launch computer management, create a new local account, then log off and login as new account, now screen and taskbar is back, I did transfer files and bookmarks...etc. Finally the user appreciate my help again. Why it's again? Because I have been using Unattended Access solved her computer issue many times, from Canada West coast to east coast.

If you have many remote users in challenging-to-access locations and they use multiple platforms (Windows, Mac, Linux), Zoho Assist is the solution. If you have a limited budget, you'll like Zoho Assist pricing. If you have a large team of IT technicians, you'll appreciate Zoho Assist's concurrent usage licensing.

We were previously using another remote support solution, but when their pricing increased significantly, we began looking for alternatives. That’s when we discovered Zoho Assist. It offers the same level of functionality and reliability as our previous provider—at a much more reasonable cost. I have already recommended Zoho Assist to multiple other IT professionals.
As a sole proprietor LLC, the only employees I have are me, myself, and I. Because of this, it is often more efficient to connect with my clients that I need to service remotely. This is where Zoho Assist comes in to play for my business. I have used other remote support software programs before, but for the cost I pay for Zoho Assist, I am able to service more customers than I could with the competitors. Plus, it works on Windows, Mac, Linux, and even some mobile devices, so I can troubleshoot a lot more devices than I could before. All in all, I have been extremely pleased with Zoho Assist, and I highly recommend it to everyone that has a need for remote support. I primarily use the Unattended Access for my clients, and it works like a champ.
Pros
Unattended Access
One time support sessions
Being able to connect without the need to drive to my client
More flexibility in scheduling appointments.
Cons
Occassionally, it will say that it is not online, even though it is. This is rare.
Dealing with multiple monitors is sometimes troubling to handle.
Copying and pasting from my machine to the remote machine doesn't always work seamlessly.

I've got a full day, and I get a call from a client. My email isn't working. I can't get Outlook to stay running. It opens and then shuts down. I am about to end the day, but before I shut down my laptop, I'm able to remote into my client's computer, check out his Outlook, and try some things. In this case, I do need to visit the client, but I know already that there are some things that I've tried already so it will reduce the amount of time I need to spend at their location.
We use Zoho Assist for remote pc access for support. We also do OS updates remotely. We have a remote workforce so having a solution that is cost effective and reliable is key. THe deployment for new hardware is really simple and easy to manage.
Pros
Remote access
Deploying new devices
OS updates
Locking work stations
Cons
Store OS versions
Store serial numbers
would be great to store where purchased and warranty
Likelihood to Recommend
Easy set up, very cost effective, especially if remote basics are needed.
As an IT Professional in a small organization I've got budget restraints, but still have problems to solve. Zoho Assist has allowed me to connect to employees in the organization in multiple locations at a price that we can afford. We have employees working from home and other remote locations, and on site IT gets costly and time consuming. Zoho Assist allows me to do more with my time and support the needs of our company.
Pros
Simple connections.
Allows me to support mobile.
Allows unattended access.
Cons
Instructions to the tech and the person receiving support could be more clear.
Providing mobile support is still a bit clunky. Interacting with the user's device on the other end is not totally functional.
It would be nice to have a PC app to use instead of accessing via the browser.

Zoho Assist has been great for me when someone calls and has problems accessing files, or can't figure out why their computer is doing something weird. I can just send them a link and be connected to them in a couple minutes. I've tried providing support to mobile devices and it has proven to be a challenge, especially if the user on the other end is not particularly tech savvy. The installation process is not intuitive and the functionality of the support once I was connected was not very good.
I used Zoho Assist in my previous organization to basically handle everything, from emails to recording tasks and keeping important documents and files. It was a great tool, but because our organization did not purchase the Enterprise version, I was unable to utilize it's other features and thus, my usage of Zoho Assist is very limited to the ones that I highlighted.
Pros
Zoho Assist has Two-factor authentication (2FA) for added security.
I can access my tools from multiple devices wherein Zoho Assist is installed.
Easy file-transfer solutions
Session recording for audits and training
Cons
Improve connection times, especially when I'm on the move and the areas that I go to have low bandwidth, which affect the performance of Zoho Assist in my device.
Allow Zoho Assist to be integrated to other applications
Increase file transfer limits

Zoho Assist can be the ideal tool to be used by small to medium size enterprises that are looking at cost effective ways of utilizing technology and integrate it into their business, and is very compatible for both Apple and Windows users. However, Zoho Assist is not the ideal tool to be used for remote gaming, video editing or any high-performance tasks, as its latency issues are yet to be addressed and improved.
We utilize Zoho Assist in a few ways. 1. Remote access to our existing pcs in our infrastructure. 2. Access to staff pcs remotely. 3. We are able to build out "departments" so certain PCs are only accessible by certain staff. Makes it easier to maintain a great remote access work flow.
Pros
light weight client install
access anywhere
unattended install/access
web portal with tons of features
Cons
Layout of UI
Sometimes agents have issues with connecting a reboot seems to fix it
Support could be a little snappier (not a deal breaker but a suggestion)

Unattended installs help with gaining access to devices anywhere there is an internet connection (based on your devices/companies devices). If you don't own any machines or don't need to access them via unattend, then, in my opinion, don't opt in. The support access via the web is a game changer for us. We are able to help users no matter where they are - the step by step process is very helpful, especially for users who are not as tech savy.
