Overall Satisfaction with 8x8 Virtual Office

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Currently, 8x8 is deployed across various departments, including mine, but not the whole organization.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Call queue.
Phone system web set up.
Professional support.

Cons

Long hold times for help.
Need more granular phone system web options.
Fax analog option does not work out bound.

Return on Investment

Money savings - half the cost as traditional PBX.
Maintenance less once setup.
Call volume easier to manage.

Alternatives Considered

Some of our users use the 8x8 Virtual Office and some use the website only. I never have complaints from either.

Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Office 365

Likelihood to Recommend

For a technical person, the setup is not hard and it's easy to manage. It's has been a great phone solution for our department.

8x8 may overwhelm non-technical people while setting it up. The over the phone set up walk through helps, but it's still a challenge for certain people.
