Overall Satisfaction with 8x8 Work
We use 8x8 Work as our primary telephony platform where it is integrated with Microsoft Teams to provide our organisation with calling and collaboration features. The product allows seamless integration with our primary business collaboration tool Microsoft Teams for over 1000 people in the organisation.
Pros
- Easy to Use
- Good Support Team
- Good calling experience
Cons
- More integration features with Microsoft Teams e.g. call recording
- Better sync tool with MS Teams which automatically syncs on a schedule rather than having to be ran manually
- More SCIM automation with AD e.g. ring groups, auto attendants to update automatically instead of being a manual task.
- Allowed our organisation to condense our communications in to one user platform (Microsoft Teams)
- Reduced costs we paid compared to our previous solution
- Improved call quality for our consultants (less incidents)
8x8 Work is better in some aspects, such as admin interface where everything can be accessed from one interface. Overall the perceived call quality seems to be better on 8x8 Work than it was on Fuze with less user complaints. Fuze did have better and easier to use analytics and reporting however, which is an important part of what we do (though worth mentioning we don't have 8x8 Work contact centre so may be missing out on some features here).
