Overall Satisfaction with 8x8 Work

We use 8x8 in our multiple location midsize business as our main communication and collaboration tool. 8x8 would scale very well for larger companies with many functions and methods of communication including video calls/meetings, business SMS, and faxing. The mobile app works seamlessly and enables business communication on the go, or work at home capability with no loss of function and no additional hardware.

Pros

  • Connect across multiple lines of communication
  • Eliminate the need for additional applications/channels
  • provide easy call management regardless of volume

Cons

  • Interface of the chat channel. Introduce more features
  • Add better Netsuite integration
  • Create better presence management
  • Saved several hundred dollars a month by eliminating other licensing (IM, Video Meetings, Business SMS)
  • The Frontdesk feature allows anyone to serve as a virtual receptionist if needed.
  • Call recording is seamless and allows for review and future. training opportunities.
Easy to use from both the user side, management, and admin. Very little training is needed to use or serve as admin on any scale.

The integration of multiple communication platforms has allowed me to work from home and travel with no loss of productivity. Colleagues and clients had no idea I was away from the office.
