Overall Satisfaction with 8x8 Work

Use it mainly to call my clients and candidates, helps to reach out in the majority of countries with ease. has many functionality that I could use for my BD however I do not use all of them, due to the difficulty of getting them set up. Something that is looked in.

has many functions however the phone service is the only one used, for the moment.

Pros

  • easy to dial,
  • can be used on the browser but also on the app
  • can be used on your smartphone

Cons

  • to make settings the backend of it is very complicated not user friendly
  • not allowing easy to click and dial, Fuze had a better functionality around it.
  • everything seems over complicated, more like a tool that can use only by someone really tech savy
  • great to keep track of the amount of time spent on the phone
  • great you can see a scrip of the VM
  • great you can direct the call to be made through your mobile
for the moment now is just a phone with no extra aplicability used by us
Fuze was good from few perspective, espectiall the click and dial option anywhere on the browser page where a number was situated.
8x8 Work says that has that but does not feel the same. also on adding notes in the CRM Fuze had a better usebilty

we are using 8x8 Work because did not have a choice.

well suited to call from, apperently has type script functionality and AI integration, but still looking into it.
not great for the moment for looking on the settings and getting it integrated to other systems,
the chrome extension is not great as well. Fuze had a better use to that.
will be great to see a better user experience platform

Using 8x8 Work

50 - Sales and business support,
Sales in recruitment doing business development. or we have delivery people using it when speaking with candidates as we are a recruitment business.

business support could be compliance and finance but also marketint teams.
1 - We do not have a specific person to support 8x8, i could say one of our directors might jump to help when needed but i will not say he is an expert,.

normally if sommone needs support we reach out to him and he reaches out to 8x8

  • can use different numbers
  • can listen to recording a
  • can track the amount of time we have people dialling
  • downloading the coonversation to use it for training purposes
  • nothing else that I could say as is used mainly as a phone platform.
  • having AI that could do the script of the convesation
  • possibility to sent SMS
I do not know the cost, as is not me, however the only doubt i have it is the fact is having glitches pretty often. Also integrations it seems it cost, not user-friendly

Evaluating 8x8 Work and Competitors

Yes - We had Fuze before,
I believe Fuze was acquired by 8x8, so it was more like a transition towards the new platform.
To be honest i Liked Fuze functionality and user friendly part,

the business was the one to make decision, but i believe one of the main factors was the cost, because I do not see anyone using the platform for anything else except phone calls.
Probably was the price and continuity from fuze
If it was me I would do a trial for 2 months, to see how it goes, as if I see those gliches happening so often, will make me think twice in taking the product.

8x8 Work Support

Once I contacted, firstly the problem was, difficult to find how to reach out to people and to whom, secondly, the person did not try to understand my issues better.

From my perspective, is not a great thing to see on a company that i need to pay to get premium support.
No one wants to spend time on sorting thing out anyway, in sales we ahve better things to do.
I requested only once the support from 8x8 and it was not great as mentioned before, so i do not have an example of what you are asking for.
