Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use 8x8 as my work phone, fax machine and text messages. As a remote employee the 8x8 system allows me to get work calls directly to my computer or cell phone.
I like the use of the 8x8 system because I don't have to give out my personal phone number.

Better Fax Confirmation that can be downloaded to show sent.

Return on Investment

Saves money on physical phone equipment.

Usability

I like the features 8x8 offers, including receiving and making phone call directly from my computer or the app on my phone. I also like that I can receive and send text messages to individuals as an additional communication line.

I think 8x8 is well suited for all businesses as it eliminated the need for physical phones. No matter where employees are (work, home, traveling) they will always get their calls. No need to forward calls to a different number.
I can't think of a scenario where it is less appropriate.
