Overall Satisfaction with 8x8 Work

We went from a traditions IP phone line with an old style menu and no GUI controls or reporting - to 8x8 Work's platform where I can go on and admin from the Admin software and we can see reports on how our system is working. We can also better direct customers to to where they need to be, and have the right people in the right spots for the answers. The set up has also really helped productivity because we have more controls around who gets calls and when, so we can schedule around when people need to focus and not be interupted.

  • Sometimes the support staff don't fully look through work orders or the set up of a company, and can lead people down the wrong path for fixes.

  • 8x8 Work helps us know where our calls are coming from and the volume we are seeing.
  • 8x8 Work has been more reliable and works better with more periphrials and other software.
Yes, as described in other sections, it has.
People can sign into one place and can stop handing out personal phone numbers for text. It has also lowered our phone costs as we don't have personnel needing seperate phones to keep personal and business seperate. They can now contain the business communications to the 8x8 Work app for calls, texts, photos, and video chat.
All examples on this have been provided, but giving us the tools to consolidate, control, and track the communicaitons has been a big help.
It's very easy to use, set up, and does all we need.
8x8 Work is the easiest to use and set up into a tech stack that isn't as vertical as others may require.

8x8 Work is well suited for companies that are looking to make a move into cloud telephony and text communicaitons, but don't need the full contact center. It is easy enough to set up some call flows, make recordings, and get up and running quick.
