Overall Satisfaction with Act-On

  • Ease of use
  • Great support staff
  • You don't need to be a hi-level HTML coder to get started
  • Step-by-step campaign set up encourages first time users to create more campaigns
  • Easy webinar set up
  • It would be great to get updated emails on new releases and the like. I have to rely on the support site or similar or maybe I am missing something? Marketo and Pardot sends out periodic emails on new versions, webinars, etc
  • If I wanted to find a name in the database, the search function did not work at times. It was pretty much hard to look for a person or persons universally in your Act-On list(s)
  • Webinars using Act-On have increased MQL to SQL dramatically - Enwisen/Infor ran, at its peak, two webinars in a month alongside a weekly 'educational' series. We found this to be very helpful in engaging existing and new leads. Webinar set up too place in one tab very very little frustrations having to toggle between WebEx.
  • Alerts to our reps have increased engagements whenever a lead comes to our website
I have used Marketo and Pardot. Act-On is an easy-to-use interface where you do not have to be a HTML guru or coder. There is a lot of logic involved in setting up a marketing campaign for example, and all that has been built in to the easy of use. All the tabs in the interface are easy to read and understand versus other tools where you have to really search for it.

Using Act-On

The best part about Act-On is the staff. From your support manager to the engineers, they know your every need and will help you resolve your issues. It was also great to have a dedicated person you can call on for managements of your lists, campaigns and to help escalate an already brewing issue.

The support staff at Act=On are really the smartest folks in the room. As long as I can type up my question in something the world can read (versus my 'inside voice' gibberish) all is good. From why am I not getting a response email after a form is filled out or why is my SFDC connector broken, they got my back!

No - I do not believe that premium support is available. It seems that we already get 'premium support' from the staff :-)
We were blacklisted due to our not cleaning our lists for such a long time, our support manager, Jennifer, did an awesome job referring us to a list cleansing vendor (I didn't know they existed) as well as helping us get our mailers out!
