Great way to automate your marketing and increase acquisition ratio
Overall Satisfaction with ActiveCampaign
Our sales and marketing department are using ActiveCampaign as a marketing automation tool for multiple customers. It helps us building sequences during the on-boarding of prospects. Thanks to the easy setup of the automation flow, sales can focus on direct follow up with the warmest leads, instead of wasting time on every inbound email.
Pros
- Marketing automation, this is the most complete tool we have come across so far.
- Easy to use, the visual automation builder is very straightforward, even for non tech users.
- Conditional logic, if you invest enough time in setting up the automation flow, the conditional builder is a very powerful tool.
Cons
- The platform is not cheap. But then again again all the comparable platforms are in the same line of price.
- The html builder is not that straightforward. If you really want to create a custom email like it is coming straight from your mailbox, it requires some creativity.
- Higher acquisition ratio, we manage to acquire customers later in the funnel, after they are warmed up by our emails.
Mailchimp is nice when you have a low frequency of sending emails and you manage to follow up yourself. Also, they have a free plan, which AC doesn't have. But it doesn't compare to AC when it comes to marketing automation.
Autopilot is a great tool as well for marketing automation, however, they don't have a $9 starting plan like ActiveCampaign, but they do offer all the premium features in their base plan.
