Recommended for small music studios!
Overall Satisfaction with ActiveCampaign
I run a small music school and I use ActiveCampaign to keep track of emails for the parents and students as well as keep track of new clients. I only recently started using the CRM component to keep track of the sales process. My only concern with adding new leads is that they require an email address. Sometimes, I only get a phone number before I get an email and it would be nice if I could make an account in Active Campaign without an email required.
I really like the templates for writing great emails. Also, the flow of an email sequence and funnel has saved me valuable time!

Pros
- Email templates
- Great funnels
- Email capture
- Ease of data entry
Cons
- Cannot make a lead account without an email
- Some language is difficult getting used to as it doesn't line up with industry-standard lingo
- Signing in is always weird and takes a few extra steps
- I have retained students
- I have gained new students I wouldn't have gotten before
- I'm able to spread the word faster and to a wider audience
Active Campaign has better funnels and way better templates. It's easier to make groups and to assign clients to different groups. Editing emails are much easier as well. The look of the email editor is much more pleasing and less confusing than Mailchimp. The analytics are easier to understand
