Overall Satisfaction with ActivTrak

ActivTrak was a great tool for our organization. We utilized this to help manage our workforce (remote and in-office), track productivity and issues arising around that topic[,] and [compare] it to other reports from other systems for comparison. For example, we'd take our PTO report and then run ActivTrak reports to see if they matched up or we had employees with no activity for certain days that we needed to check in with to see if they needed to be using PTO for that day. ActivTrak really helped new hires to track their training progress and needs and to ensure they had enough to do. We also used this tool to identify gaps in the workforce and identify areas where certain employees were being underutilized and move them around, rather than hiring additional people.

  • Great at reports to show staff and different groups[.]
  • Reports could be a tad better, but have most everything you need[.]
  • Need more real time data alert notices[.]
  • Sometimes it would take awhile to load with so much data, which can be frustrating[.]

  • There is certainly an additional time for employees that have to manage and track this data + train managers on how to [use it].

Absolutely, like I mentioned it's helped us identify gaps and improve productivity by ensuring all employees have the appropriate [workload]. We weren't aware before because we couldn't physically track anything, but ActivTrak gave us that ability which allowed us to really have insight into our workforce productivity rates & set new goals.
It has helped us identify areas of growth where we can focus on people who are working way too much. We can easily see the [number] of hours they are putting in every week & then we're able to address the root cause of that and try to help alleviate some of that work off of their plate so they don't get burnt out too quickly.
I wouldn't say we mastered process workflows and resource utilization using ActivTrak, but that was more of an internal issue. We did try to manage those and create new workflows - it was a [ever-changing] process though with all the data and systems we had in place, so it could've been better on our end.
We hadn't tried anything before ActivTrak!

Yes

We used ActivTrak to check on new [hires'] progress during their training/introductory period. You could ensure they were using their time well, not visiting sites or applications that were frowned upon, and using this to coach managers on what needs their [employees] may have. We also would look at how much our employees were being utilized in certain areas. If there was a lot of [downtime], we knew they needed more to do rather than just thinking we always needed more staff - we could reorganize and delegate work elsewhere, which was great. It kept employees engaged because we'd be able to handle the issue before it got worse - them sitting around with nothing to do is a lose-lose for everyone.
