Overall Satisfaction with ActivTrak
It is used to track the residents. I am looking to see whether they are using it for good, watching out for lousy internet sites, or the sites they should not be using.
Pros
- It gives what kind of site each computer has used.
- Provides the picture of the last site the computer was in.
- And the length of the time it was used.
- Overall usage of the whole class.
Cons
- Prevent a computer(s) from getting to a wrong site.
- Control what a computer can have an access or not.
- Control the length of time they can use.
- Positive impact is providing the name of the site a computer was on.
- Positive, provides the length of the time of the site.
- No control over the computer.
- Name of the website the computer was.
- Length of the site the computer was in.
- The overall analysis of the usage.
- The information above helps me to understand the behavior of the residents when using the computer.
By understanding our residents' computer use behavior, I can help them encourage what they are doing well and discourage or stop them from using the wrong websites.
This is not the purpose of using this system.
We are not using this system to manage process workflows and resources utilization across people and technology, but to monitor the residents to use the computer for the purpose described for them to use, not a bad website, such as porn or sexual content or anything against our values of the organization but good ones; such as social security, emails, driver license and so on in order to get their life together.
I have never used other products; therefore, I have nothing to compare.
