Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Acrobat
In my organization I use Adobe Acrobat to create final drafts of department of insurance documentation and make adjustments to documents like sales proposals. I also use it to make forms from existing Word documents.
Pros
- Converting documents - excellent job at making documents editable in other formats
- Editable form fills - easy to create form fills within the application. I like that I can upload a Word document and make an editable form for my team to use and streamline their business, has place to sign
- Organize pages - I use this tool to combine PDF's all the time
Cons
- Form fills - though the program does a good job at form field protection, there is not a universal way to change the type and size, say, on all of the check marks, without having to go into each one
- Signature integration that meets HIPPA standards - like docusign (not just Adobe signature)
- File compression - I still struggle with getting PDF's to compress and still have good quality image through Adobe Acrobat. I would have to have a collection of one page flyers for my team that are high resolution, quick load, printer friendly, and most importantly email friendly.
- Overall, the ROI on Adobe Acrobat has been positive for our company, I personally utilize it nearly every day of the week.
- Integration with Other Systems
- Ease of Use
- Other
File conversions, PDF editing, document organizing, and creating form fills are my primary use for acrobat pro (DC).
I don't know enough about their standards, I worry using Adobe signature because I'm unsure that it is HIPPA compliant.
