Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Acrobat DC

Adobe Acrobat DC is used at our organization by our administrative and operations staff in order to edit existing Pdf documents, comment on pdf documents, combine them and even create fillable and signable forms. We use this daily in both administrative and operations contexts. It is extremely helpful for reviewing construction drawings, creating and signing contracts, and marketing packages.

  • Reduction in time spent recreating document text when edits are required on existing documents in pdf forms
  • ease of creating marketing packages that are made of multiple pdfs.
  • increased ability and efficiencies throughout the administrative functions.
I can use both Windows and Apple iOS computers as well as tablets that use both operating systems as well. Adobe is not "married" to a particular operating system, which makes it very user-friendly, however, this is not particularly different from most other software, as it becomes "mandatory" to work across operating systems and types of devices.
Adobe's security and compliance standards have met or exceeded our requirements of security from an IT standpoint. We have not seen any security breaches that have affected our organization from the Adobe suite of software that is utilized on an enterprise level. Additionally, we like the ability to secure documents from further modifications when we know that we don't want, a contract, for example, to be modified once finalized.
Adobe Acrobat DC is easier to use and more intuitive than BlueBeam, we prefer Bluebeam for operations teams because it offers to scale and measuring for construction documents that our operations teams need, however, would prefer the Adobe suite for ease of use, and familiarity to the users, who have often used Adobe products elsewhere in their careers.

Do you think Adobe Acrobat delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Adobe Acrobat's feature set?

Yes

Did Adobe Acrobat live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Adobe Acrobat go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Adobe Acrobat again?

Yes

Adobe Acrobat DC is particularly well suited for creating marketing packages, contract packages, and typical business document packages. It is less suited to the construction industry. Other solutions such as BlueBeam offer special capabilities such as measuring and scaling construction drawings that make it a little better suited for that context. Microsoft word is better suited to tracking changes in the documents, so this is not best for comments in situations where the team members that are commenting or changing a document are internal.
