Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Analytics

It is being used by one of our clients. It helps us understand the client's user's behaviors on their website. We can use this data to make recommendations for improvements and evaluate the success of the website initiatives. The benefit of using Adobe Analytics over other analytics tools is that it is very customizable and we are able to obtain very specific information about users.
  • Customizable interface allows us to answer very specific questions unique to our website.
  • There are many add-on features offered by Adobe Analytics that provide us with an even more in-depth understanding of web behaviors.
  • Adobe Analytics is a well known tool, so there are many support communities and help resources available.
  • It's not as fast as other tools in providing quick analysis for business questions. It can take a while to get the data from the data warehouse.
  • There aren't many free resources for learning the tool.
  • It can be difficult to convince clients to use Adobe Analytics because it is a paid tool.
  • It has allowed us to better understand user behavior so we can improve the users' experience on the website.
  • It has lead to an increase in conversions.
Adobe analytics is more powerful than the free version of Google Analytics. One key difference is that Adobe provides user and session ids whereas Google Analytics does not by default.
I believe Adobe Analytics is more appropriate for organizations with a sufficient support and analytics team to configure the tags properly and analyze the results accurately. A client with a smaller budget and resources would probably be better served using a free analytics tool.
