Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Experience Manager

We use Adobe Experience Manager for our internal site as a knowledge management platform, for optimized searching across a complex platform and to provide top down news and relevant content.

Pros

  • Multiple authoring system
  • Ability to create multiple templates for different content types
  • Meta data//tagging abilities

Cons

  • More customized components than out of the box
  • More support from Adobe to provide use case and best practices for how to enhance our product
  • Doc ids for urls to allow for easier way to update content when URL changes
  • ROI
  • Process agility
  • Increased customer engagement
It's fairly user friendly but would be helpful to have more flexibility with components and other abilities to maximize it
  • Multi-site management
  • Tagging/metadata
  • Ease of use when dropping down components
