Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Photoshop

Photoshop has been integral in our Marketing department since I started at this company. There is a fair amount of photo editing and manipulation that we need to incorporate into our marketing collateral that contains renderings and photos. Currently, there are no viable alternatives to Photoshop's capabilities--with it's deep abilities and user-interface, Photoshop is likely the only software we'll need for photo manipulation.
  • Photo Manipulation
  • Photo coloring and adjustment
  • Depth in design manipulation
  • Constantly updated via Creative Cloud
  • Strengthens our ability to do work internally rather than outsource
  • Gives our marketing department the ability to work on in-depth projects
  • Completes the Adobe Creative suite allowing a simple workflow between projects
In my opinion there are no viable alternatives to Photoshop.
It can't be matched in functionality and output. There is no other photo manipulation software that gives you the range of tools and accessibility that you get with Photoshop. I've used this product for 13 years and don't see myself ever stepping away to another program as long as Photoshop is around.

Do you think Adobe PhotoShop delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Adobe PhotoShop's feature set?

Yes

Did Adobe PhotoShop live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Adobe PhotoShop go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Adobe PhotoShop again?

Yes

Again, Photoshop is best served for photo manipulation, taking things out of a photo--adding things. It does have the capacity to do a wide variety of tweaks that change the quality and look of the photo, including the editing of large RAW photo files. I tend to use Lightroom a bit more for photo coloring.

As a property development company, we have a lot of properties under construction. While we do leave the cranes and half-completed buildings in the shots we share, we like to be able to go in and remove cones, construction tape, etc. that would muddy the image from what it will look like when those items are cleaned up.
