Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Premiere Pro
Adobe Premiere Pro is being used by our organization in very specific areas to produce and edit videos for training, commercial marketing, product demonstration, internal communication, and external communication. It is used by a handful of creatives as their tool set to create finished pieces primarily for web deployment, either internally or externally.
- Robust project organization with multiple inputs.
- Robust clip editing inside of a project.
- It is a large tool that has a bit of a learning curve.
- Efficient file storage is a challenge - you need LOTS of memory to use it.
- It is comprehensive - if you need to do something in-house, the only limitation is skill set.
- It speeds up the turn-around time for projects to be able to edit in-house on a proper tool.
Other tools are okay, but they all tend to fall short at some point and they are nearly impossible to pick up and properly edit as a package after they have been created and rendered. They tend to look a bit amateurish. My thoughts on Adobe Premiere Pro are that you either do it right or you do it twice.
