Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Premiere Pro

Adobe Premiere Pro is being used by our organization in very specific areas to produce and edit videos for training, commercial marketing, product demonstration, internal communication, and external communication. It is used by a handful of creatives as their tool set to create finished pieces primarily for web deployment, either internally or externally.
  • Robust project organization with multiple inputs.
  • Robust clip editing inside of a project.
  • It is a large tool that has a bit of a learning curve.
  • Efficient file storage is a challenge - you need LOTS of memory to use it.
  • It is comprehensive - if you need to do something in-house, the only limitation is skill set.
  • It speeds up the turn-around time for projects to be able to edit in-house on a proper tool.
Other tools are okay, but they all tend to fall short at some point and they are nearly impossible to pick up and properly edit as a package after they have been created and rendered. They tend to look a bit amateurish. My thoughts on Adobe Premiere Pro are that you either do it right or you do it twice.
Adobe is a big animal. I often find that my first search for support is more for tutorials on YouTube than articles within their knowledge base. That's because I learn well that way. I know that Adobe has a great knowledge base and it is only matched or exceeded by the willingness of its ubiquitous users to share their experience. One of the biggest selling points is actually the user base.

Do you think Adobe Premiere Pro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Adobe Premiere Pro's feature set?

Yes

Did Adobe Premiere Pro live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Adobe Premiere Pro go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Adobe Premiere Pro again?

Yes

Adobe Premiere Pro is a great tool for integrating with other products in the Adobe Creative Cloud. In particular, integrations with Adobe Premiere Rush have been a very nice addition to scale and rendering speed when the full kit of tools isn't necessarily required. That said, when you need to do it right, there is no other viable option than using the right tool for the job. If you need to do more granular edits, Adobe Premiere Pro is the only real tool for the job.
