Employee Reporting the Easy Way
Overall Satisfaction with ADP Workforce Now
ADP Workforce Now is being used mainly in the Business Office. We track multiple employee HR issues as well as payroll and associated reporting to departments.
Pros
- Reporting information is gathered easily through standard and custom reports.
- Department Managers can easily track their department payroll hours and set schedules if needed.
- As a hospital we have various pay types and they are all accommodated by the payroll system.
Cons
- The overrides in the time and attendance module require multiple clicks.
- If an employee uses time off you cannot associate a note with that day in the time and attendance module.
- Custom Reports can sometimes be cumbersome to set up because you cannot always determine which type of pay code you need to associate with the results you are needing to track. Also figuring out where some codes are set up at can be trying at times.
- The ability to create custom reports has enabled our department to cut back on spreadsheets that were normally kept for statistical data.
In the past I have used CYMA it is a good system and allows you to process payroll easily. ADP Workforce Now also allows for easy processing but has added features to allow you to track employee demographics, rate changes, job changes etc. I especially like the feature that allows for pay rate changes in the middle of a pay period. The ACA reporting is a good tool and once set up tends to track correctly and helps when watching for employees who should be classified as full time based upon aggregated hours.
