Overall Satisfaction with ADP Workforce Now

We are using ADP Workforce Now across our whole organization for time and attendance, payroll, benefits administration, new employee onboarding, recordkeeping, and reporting.
  • Onboarding.
  • Benefits administration/open enrollment.
  • Tax and banking on the local level.
  • Nuance of time and attendance system (particularly when involving overnight shifts).
  • We had thousands of dollars paid erroneously in health care taxes when ADP calculated the tax incorrectly, and it took months to get the money back.
  • We have exchanged hundreds of emails over the above issue, and constantly get passed from one entry-level staff member to the next.
I think the larger the organization, the more problems there will be within the system.
ADP is a system, and like any other system, it has strengths and shortcomings. ADP makes continuous improvements, which is helpful but tends to make pretty extreme mistakes without much planning for how to resolve those mistakes. For instance, ADP service representatives are not well informed on tax and banking issues, and it's very challenging to talk to anyone from tax and banking on the phone directly.
