Overall Satisfaction with AnyDesk

We used AnyDesk for remote support - Any time one of our members of staff had an issue, we would connect to them to resolve the issue. We needed software that would allow us to connect remotely with password protected unattended access and file transfer capabilities, which AnyDesk seems to do perfectly.

Pros

  • File transfers - Being able to just copy and paste multiple files is perfect.
  • Connection - Once connected, it seems very stable.
  • Unattended access - Being able to create and roll out a customised client with unattended access enabled saves us a lot of time getting things set up in the first instance

Cons

  • Being able to view system resource usage at a glance
  • Being able to view system *uptime* at a glance
  • Being able to view network usage/information at a glance
  • Our quote after a year almost doubled in cost
  • After the quote had increased, it was still cheaper than bigger competitors
  • Cost per support user is fairly cheap
Connection isn't instantaneous, and the UI isn't the best I've ever seen, but it does the job and allows you to connect, support, and remotely access computers and files that would otherwise be a very long drive. Connection via the address book is as easy as double-clicking once set up, and you can manage files in a separate area if required or just copy and paste.
AnyDesk is so much easier to use than any of the alternatives I've tried, and actually has basic features like remembering passwords for unattended access. The file transfer is also a heck of a lot better on AnyDesk, as the copy and paste function just saves so much time compared to having to either upload 1 file at a time or opening a file manager.

Do you think AnyDesk delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with AnyDesk's feature set?

Yes

Did AnyDesk live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of AnyDesk go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy AnyDesk again?

Yes

Any scenario where remote support is required is perfect for AnyDesk - There isn't really that much else to it. The extra features like the remembering of passwords for unattended access and being able to copy and paste files are amazing for remote support, even if it's still possible to remotely support someone without it.
