Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use this for workforce planning which means to both analyze current workforce as well as to look forward for future opportunities and understand people and training needs in order to plan and prepare properly for future projects. The scope is global in nature with projects in over 30 countries.

Support Rating

The support I have received has always been excellent and very timely. I have never have had to wait an extended amount of time and I have always found that the support staff is very well versed in listening and responding to my questions and providing the best answer that fits the needs and solves the problem with the minimum amount of work. They are very good to deal with.

Usability

Appian is very easy to use for many aspects of work which include day to day analysis and monthly quarterly and yearly reporting. People who have very little computer skills are able to pick up the system very easily with limited amount of training required. The support is very good too which makes figuring out what to do very easy.

Alternatives Considered

Qlik Analytics Platform and Microsoft Teams

The main product that my company uses is Microsoft Teams. I think that Appian is far superior to Microsoft Teams in many aspects but the most significant is the ability to use easily and move from reports to reports. I far prefer Appian to Teams. The design is much better and the optimization of the entire system makes much more sense to me.

We use Appian in many different scenarios. I am most familiar in the workforce planning sector of our business but I know it can be used in multiple functions including allocation of equipment and capex. this can be used across countries which is a major benefit. I also think we could utilize the system in large scope HR projects to better plan our overall company planning.
