Overall Satisfaction with Articulate 360

We use Articulate 360 to quickly design easy-to-use online learning for internal commercial roles to familiarize themselves with our growing product and solutions portfolio. Our topics are constantly growing and our learners are always on the go so responsive design is critical to reach our audiences.

Pros

  • Incorporates a variety of media types
  • Easy to adapt to company and solution branding
  • Supports collaboration with internal and third-party design teams

Cons

  • Rise offers limited functionality to create advanced interactive content.
  • Storyline is not available for Mac and our company does not support virtualization, leaving Mac users without an extra tool in the arsenal of learning technologies.
  • Presenter 360 offers an interesting rapid development option however is it not compatible with Mac. It would be helpful if there were a means to convert 360 modules to Rise or Storyline using automation or some other service.
  • Decreased lead time to deliver knowledge-based learning modules.
  • Cover more of the topics needed to upskill our internal commercial education audiences.
  • Manage product commercial education portfolio for global CHF 8 billion diagnostics company with a team of 15 educators.
I use Rise 360 to design and develop product commercial education programs. Once a module is ready to for reviews, we run our alphas and betas through Review 360 and incorporate feedback into the module. If we simply have a PowerPoint, sometimes we will use Presenter to knock out a quick module and still use Review to test the module with stakeholders and sample audiences.
We cannot use the AI Assistant at this time since our IT and security teams have not validated these features.
The solution meets the majority of our needs. The Mac issues cause challenges for some of our designers.
Articulate 360 offers the best overall coverage for designing elearning at scale. We tend to use other solution such as MURF, Smartcat, and Synthesia in concert with Articulate 360 to create a superior overall learning experience.

Generally, yes, but I would emphasize that many of the included applications are not natively compatible with Mac, creating challenges for many users. Aside from that issue I would share that Articulate 360 is the most effective suite of design tools for elearning. Rise offers rapid design capabilities for knowledge based education in a uniquely simple manner. Storyline builds on those capabilities by offering features to design complex learning experiences.
