Overall Satisfaction with Articulate 360
Articulate 360 enables us to develop engaging training content rapidly and efficiently. The Rise platform is perfect for the lowest amount of development time and accessibility. Storyline works well for more interactive or branding customization, but it limited by it's Windows requirement. The Review tool is a fantastic way to request feedback from stakeholders for both development platforms.
Pros
- Consistent look and feel when developing in Rise
- Review tool allows feedback to be contextual and reference-able
- Accessibility across platforms
Cons
- Mac OS Storyline Compatibility
- Greater customization in Rise
- Outline development tool
- Articulate 360 Rise has allows my team to develop vast amounts of training with minimal resources.
- Rise has saved thousands of hours of development time that would've been required with Captivate or Storyline.
- The Review tool has saved immense time digesting feedback via email or other methods.
We use Rise primarily, and leverage Storyline Rise blocks within Rise when needed. We use Review for SME feedback on assets developed in Rise, Storyline, or other (video)
Docebo is a superior LMS for scale, but I prefer the features and functionality of Rise and Storyline to that of Absorb and Captivate.
However, I find the Absorb content dev tool to be a great middle ground between Rise and Storyline, and would love to see a similar browser-based product from Articulate 360.
