Overall Satisfaction with Articulate 360

Fast, agile, flexible, and maintainable online courses that meet current trends in online learning design, mobile adjustments, and workforce interests.
Limited options for interactive building helps us determine the best interactive quickly without overwhelming us with options and customizations.
BUT Storyline does offer the customizable interactive if we need it and we do need it sometimes to do our immersive learning that is required for skills trades and blue collar jobs.

Pros

  • SCORM and xAPI publishing for LMS integrations
  • Versioning for reviews and iterations of a course
  • Searching content and sharing assets and blocks
  • Review collaboration without needing a subscription for SMEs and Stakeholders
  • Team Collaboration and shared content ownership
  • Clear subscription model with seamless renewal

Cons

  • Pricing on the localization is limiting to us right now. We’d love to use it but cannot justify the expense for our leadership.
  • Storyline trigger simplification or build wizard (if there is one, I haven’t clearly seen it)
  • Online Learning Content that is next level beyond beginner and intermediate.
  • More frequent opportunities for beta testing new features and giving feedback
  • Increased training completion
  • More device flexibility
  • On the go learning we didn’t have before
  • Quick learning design development for fast business change
I find Storyline and Rise to be most helpful with the collaboration in Review. The Reach system didn’t have enough for us to utilize it yet as a full-scale tool. And the video and other tools are just too basic for our standards and needs.
I would say it’s great at evaluating and supporting but not great at producing/creating. I’m partial to being the designer and having AI be my assistant though.
Almost gave a 10 because once I figure out the clicks I get it but there are some things that are confusing. Like why can’t I manage my question banks from within the knowledge check in Rise? It’s a tedious process if one question is off. I understand the system architecture is likely limiting, but is there a way to overcome this?

I work with a headquarters that has many stakeholders and VPs that are not target learners but are our SMEs. It’s incredibly helpful to have a live review link for the most recent version of the courses the SMEs are the content experts for and see the updates come in email in real time as the review throughout the year as updates to their processes and information are submitted.
