Overall Satisfaction with Articulate 360

I primarily use it to building elearning trainings for internal and external team members. My trainings aim to provide just in time micro learning and interactive elearnings that is interactive and engaging through simulations and interactive videos. Also we use the platform to provide more mobile learning because our learners don’t always have access to a computer.

Pros

  • Quick translations and Close Captioning generation
  • Assessments for multiple content types

Cons

  • Not all interactive features within Storyline work with certain LMS
  • I’d love to see the ability to output a course structure in a clean digestible fashion
  • The ability to reverse video footage/mirror video footage within the platform

I’ve primarily used Storyline, Rise, and Review 360. I love Review 360 because it allows for easy reviews and the ability to document my changes. Also sharing reviews with external vendors allows for easy access. Also the ability to go back and see the different rounds of reviews to check for how the project has evolved.
I’d agree faster course creation and spending less time debugging the course has been a huge benefits. The AI assistant has also helped with reducing my research time to find answers to my questions in forums or other users. Also it has been helpful with brainstorming other ideas that I can implement in my projects.
I’m very happy with Articulate 360. I’ve been using it for years and it is a reliable tool I can continuously use. I can trust my courses will work as designed and not crash. Even updating older courses to align with new content has been a breeze. Highly suggest to anyone looking to get into content creation.
It stacks up very well, but I do have to utilize other tools to create the engaging content like videos and editing footage. For building basic graphics it is fine, but for more brand aligned imagery I rely on other programs. Like videos production it still mostly handled by Premiere Pro or Camtasia.

It was well suited for creating micro learning within Rise when I was quickly rolling out training during the COVID pandemic. Also, Articulate 360 has been well suited for any training content I created at any organization I’ve worked with. I’ve even enjoyed using it to deliver more interactive flyers/announcements.
