Overall Satisfaction with Avalara
We are an internet and catalog apparel company. Our customer facing web platform recently switched to the Avalara connector. A company that was purchased a few years ago was already using Avalara. The ease of setup and use along with the added functionality was a key to moving from our old tax service to Avalara.

- It has decreased the time spent maintaining & reporting sales tax.

Some of the information on APIs was not straightforward. This led to some trial and error. However, now all data is timely and accurate. The tax manager has the information he needs at his fingertips with the flexibility to do what is needed when it is needed with reduced IT involvement.
We sell direct to consumer, so exemption certificate management is very limited for us. The tax manager handles it manually for the few instances. Returns filing is not currently done, since we need it on a fiscal month and not a calendar month.
