Overall Satisfaction with Avaya Cloud Office
Avaya Cloud Office has allowed me to work from home as if I was still in the office. There is no need to contact communications to have them forward my number, or make any changes when working remote. I can go back and forth between the two and not have to worry about missing anything.
Pros
- IOS App to manage
- Cloud phone that only needs a network connection
- Windows App
Cons
- The cloud phone occasionally has to be rebooted to get calls on it
- The Windows app isn't integrated with Zoom
- The IOS app could use a better user interface
- This made working from home possible, allowing me to take calls that I wouldn't be able to without having them forwarded by our communications department
- It works with Teams, realizing when I'm on a conf call and automatically sets a status of away, preventing my phone from ringing, but allowing me to see the voicemail via text so that I can respond
- If I step out of the office for a little bit, I can have my calls go directly to my cellphone to make sure I'm still available if needed
I've integrated it with Microsoft Teams for the messaging/conference calls, and take full advantage of the ability to use the calling part from anywhere, whether it's through my pc, cellphone, or cloud phone. We have it set so that if you are busy, you can take yourself out of the call queue easily, preventing delays when someone calls for assistance.
We have integrated Avaya Cloud Office with Microsoft Teams. It hasn't really streamlined anything for us as an organization, but it helps with small things like preventing the phone from ringing if you are on a Microsoft Teams call. This prevents delays on the call, which are minor, but still can be an issue.
