Overall Satisfaction with AVI-SPL

AVI-SPL has been very good to work with. They were not the lowest quote, but they have been very professional in designing our new audio/video system for our conference room. Our previous system is over 20 years old and has actually started to fail completely. Meetings are an embarrassment. We need an entirely new state-of-the-art system designed around our needs from the ground up.
  • They designed us a new system based on our new video conferencing needs.
  • They are training staff on how to use all the new features.
  • They are going to pre-program our presets so we don't have to remember as many features.
  • The wait time for the components has been very long.
  • Some of the components agreed upon in the original contract have been discontinued so parts are changing.
  • Because of parts being discontinued, we will now have a controller that is no longer removable from the wall.
  • The project is currently in progress, but the new system will be able to provide a hybrid video conference component and real world in person meetings a way to fuse together.
  • Our technology will be state of the art, which we have been lacking for more than a decade.
  • I believe more groups will want to utilize our conference capabilities, making us a better partner for our associated groups.
We have contacted support because we have had questions about the tech and installation along the way of finalizing a design plan. The team has always provided us with a thorough answer with the guidance of the subject matter expert of their team. We will reach out to them post-installation to modify our presets as time will tell what is most suitable.
AVI-SPL has designed a hybrid working environment to facilitate our in-person meeting. We never had the capability before and, in recent times, have had disastrous results attempting to create it ourselves. Our current hardware is worn out and failing. We have been paying a consultant $300 per meeting to set up our system, but it's constantly breaking. We can host these hybrid meetings ourselves and eliminate the added costs. Staff can stop chasing others to try to fix it and hire a consultant. We all should have fewer job responsibilities as a result.
AVI-SPL has its own niche area of audio/video design and installation. They are the only group we have done something like this before; they were able to respond to our inquiry first and fastest. I am not sure if they offer managed IT or cloud services with AWS, but we would like to know about the other things they offer. I thing their selection of hardware will be top-of-the-line based on their design specifications.

AVI-SPL was able to completely design a system from the ground up based on our specific needs. The team started with a knowledgeable sales representative and has grown into a multi-person team. The additional members are all highly knowledgeable about audio/video, so it helps the discussion. AVI-SPL is having sidebar discussions with our managed IT contractor, which saves us time trying to be the middle man for those sorts of questions.
