Overall Satisfaction with Basecamp
Basecamp is used by the whole organization for Team, project and task management. It is much better than its counterparts and I am so happy with the product. I use it in my Agile Project Development. The product development is a rigorous process and breaking it into projects helps a lot. That's where Basecamp comes handy.
- Project Management - So much better to handle the projects effectively
- UI for the application is so good
- The description in the projects - space is good
- Basecamp has limited features
- What I think about the website is that it is not designed well
- I think there should be tracking on the basis of time also
- Positive - Speed gives the fast project completion
- Positive - Low budget means better cost optimization
- Negative - If you have website version, there will be lack of functionalities. Hence, not for complicated project management.
Basecamp is better in terms of better project management, module development, and agile product development. JIRA would be better in time tracking and Agile. But, overall project development is better than all in Basecamp. Asana is a ticketing system only for task management. Trello has good communication aspects. But, overall Basecamp gets the top product position.
