We use BigCommerce to set up online stores for our clients and as a CMS web solution. It allows the client to be able to easily manage the site when it is set up.
- Easy Payment integration. So the setup is very simple and low risk.
- They are constantly adding features and updating the platform, so if something you need isn't a current feature changes are there will be an update in the future that will address your need.
- Lots of documentation and easily accessible support.
- The options, rules and sku relationships are a bit hard to understand.
- Search settings - Search should have settings that allow you limit to specific results. Example: unless you use quotes the search parameters are very wide.

- Online Marketplaces (e.g. Amazon, eBay)
Several of our clients use Ebay to sell their products as well. Mailchimp integrates very well.
