Overall Satisfaction with BigCommerce

We use BigCommerce to facilitate sales.

Pros

  • Lots of choices for payment gateways
  • Great customer service

Cons

  • Product creation( I hate product option)
  • Fraud prevention
  • Better HTML EDITOR
  • Don't count fraudulent orders towards monthly subscription
  • So far, negative ROI due to higher monthly subscription costs.

Initially, we thought that it was going to be cost effective but now I regret my opinion. Shopify is more cost-effective than BigCommerce because Shopify doesn't have a sales threshold and you don't pay more if you surpass the sales threshold.
Well suited for fashion stores. Not so much if you are selling consumer electronics, not enough customization available for product creation.
