Overall Satisfaction with BigCommerce
We have used BigCommerce for just over two years for our e-commerce website. Our previous website was hosted on a platform which required significant experience and expertise to effectively manage. We can now manage the required website updates in-house with very little external help required. Our website functions with Avalara to calculate a customers local tax in all countries and provides excellent customer facing usability.

Cons
- The link with Acumatica does not handle special characters well, sometimes adding multiple characters where one is supposed to be.
- Google ads integration is a bit clumsy.
- Sales were up by 15% in the first year after switching.

The API integrations have been trouble free, both Acumatica and Avalara integrations seem stable. It would be nice to be able to push data from BigCommerce to other systems. In addition it would be great to have a full map of end points and possible/default values for the data, as it stands, we don't know what an option will import as, then it must be mapped afterwards a failed import. Overall this is a pretty good system, but it could be a little easier for setup.
Pricing is much more reasonable than our previous experience, in addition we can manage in house so that's a great benefit for a small business. Building the site was simple and manageable.
