Overall Satisfaction with BlackLine
BlackLine is used for account reconciliations, matching, journal entries, and month end checklists. The problems that BlackLine addresses are efficiency in recons as well the ability to "clear" open items as our current ERP does not allow that which causes inefficient GL dumps to excel each month in order to reconcile our balance sheet accounts. The ability to assign a workflow to reconciling items also remove the problem of emailing or Teams messages back and forth and across functions to resolve reconciling items.

BlackLine will allow us to be more efficient in many areas of financial close allowing us scalability without increased headcount.
BlackLine was more robust and well put together than competitors. The yearly 100M reinvestment into their product is a big selling point.
