Overall Satisfaction with Box

We primarily use the Box app for asset management with Clients who prefer to use this platform. We also use it for audio file storage and playback on training from within our organization.

Pros

  • Audio playback
  • Image and PDF hosting

Cons

  • I know it's not a primary focus, but using the Box app for audio playback can be a little finicky.
  • Since we use so many different Asset Management software, it's hard to pinpoint whether this one, in particular, has helped us more than others.
  • Audio playback for training has definitely helped save time compared to us individually training everything for each new employee.

We selected Box when our clients were specifically requesting us to use that app.
Box is great for asset management. We have seen success with plenty of our clients and our implementation of it with them has not been difficult. Overall, the learning curve is very low. If you're looking to just store images, I would recommend a different cloud storage service.
