Overall Satisfaction with Broadvoice

We liked to use the remote feature, we were on your Yiptel product,
and it was a good for many years, but when Broadvoice purchased the company,
backend service began to fail. They desktop app became very buggy and there was
not a great effort to work on it. You were more interested in transitioning to
BeeHive that service the Yiptel portion. When I did transition to Beehive I was
told it would do everything that Yiptell did only better. Within two weeks, I
was moved back to Yeptel because the most important functions I needed were not
part of the Beehive platform. So I would say the sales representative did not
know his product well.

The desktop app does not always work, sometimes it fails to dial the number. It also logs off by itself. I have tried to get support for this but I don’t get results. If someone could please call me it would be very helpful. I converted to the new Beehive and then moved back. When I moved back they increased my monthly payment by $50

Pros

  • When moved back to Yiptel I was billed $50 more per month for the same service. No one ever would fix this problem.

Cons

  • The desktop app does not work all the time in the click-to-dial feature. Sometimes it times out and requires the number to be dialed again. This has started occurring since we reinstalled Yiptel replacing Bhive.
  • If you want your client to transition, make sure your product matched the one or better than the one you are moving them from. Or support the one they are on currently until this can be accomplished.

Well, I believe that the Yiptel platform works well for most things. There are things it will not do, like texting document files, and since I have returned to Yiptel from Bhive the Desktop app does not always function. It would be helpful if the new programs would incorporate the functions of Yiptel. When they rolled out Bhive, I was told it was the same as Yiptel, only with better backend functions. Unfortunately, this was not the case. I know that Yiptel will sunset, and I will need to find a system that will do at least what Yiptel does.
